Miami WAS a dirty program at one time but that is a thing of the past and something that Randy Shannon started to change (he was hamstrung by higher ups at the Univ). Al Golden is a straight shooter and wont put up with shady goings on under his watch. I could see the attraction of a young man playing for a coach like Golden and you also got to remember these kids were not around during there really dirty times so playen for Miami is no worse in their minds than a UF, UGA, Clemson, FSU or even USC (All schools with recent issues or rumors of shady stuff)

Shapiro has testified to providing extra benefits up to and including 2010. It's not like that is ancient history. Miami was on probation during this period, also. Let's see how this plays out.

I think he's at least even with Vernon.

Watch their films. Alexander is a stud. IMO, the only reason Vernon is rated higher and gets more focus is because he's more vocal and puts himself out there. MacKensie is very tight lipped regarding his recruiting and isn't all over Twitter. It's like DRose vs Bron Bron. Both are incredible players... 2 of the best in the world, but Baby Bron gets all the attention and interest by the media because he gives them more to discuss.

Ummm, besides some Bulls fans, I don't really know of a single person who truly believes Rose is as good of a player as James. Hell, a lot could would argue that James is an even better PG than Rose...let alone overall player. Rose is a great talent and great player, but he's no James. But I digress...

I sure hope Alexander (or Hargreaves) comes to ND. The Irish have been lacking a great CB (pretty much since Carter) and Alexander has the makings to be one.
