It is funny how things turn out in life, despite what we sometimes originally think, it can only be destiny and it is beautiful thing. Notre Dame for Life!!

Too many people try to make things is life happen or have specific ideas of what they are supposed to do and become too focused or ideological with them. I believe that you have to keep your eyes and mind open AND LET THE WORLD COME TO YOU. If I would have only tried to stick to "my plan" rather than adjusting I would have missed out on 90% of the things I enjoy and have made my life so wonderful - including going to Notre Dame.

Some call it luck, some call it destiny . . . I call it living life.

I just wanted to say Thank You All for the comments good or bad! I believe Chris is where he was supposed to be and no matter what it took to get here...... He did it and made me the happiest man along the way. When I went to school I never could sit still inside a class for more than an hour 1/2, but today during the Notre Dame Parent Orientation I spent much of my time looking at Chris with the other players and could only smile. But to be able to drop off your son at Notre Dame on Father's Day!!!!!! Priceless...... It finally happen guys!! Chris meet Notre Dame....... Notre Dame meet our Son Chris Brown!!!

It was fun guys and I will keep each of you in my prayers and ask you do the same! Go Irish!!!!

No matter what happens Chris is on the right path. Even if he never plays a down he (and you) have made the best decision for his future. Freshmen year is hard coming from a different culture and background. But believe me it is well worth it and the best thing for him as a person. Good luck to him and you in what ever the future holds.

Mr. Brown,

I got to see Chris and Hanahan play Lake City (I believe) this past year in the playoffs. My whole family are Carolina fans and were like "who is that kid" and I got to tell them he is a ND commit. They were all saying "how did Spurrier let this guy get away." Chris had a monster game that night and I can't wait for him to show the rest of the nation every Saturday, what I saw that night.
