Fun fact of the day.... talking to some people, apparently Doug is a very talented lacrosse player in addition to his football prowess. Didn't know that. Apparently has DI lacrosse potential but is a football-first guy for college... similar situation to Greg Pyke who committed to Georgia for football.

Where he going to play college football at though? Come on Lax work those Virginia connections you got.

He is trying to get to South Bend on the 14th but isn't sure if he will. Wants to get back to campus to get another look after Prosise has been in his ear. Also hung out with Anzalone and Butler in Baltimore and has been in contact with others commits. Will be at Stanford for camp 21st and may visit UVA later this summer.

I don't like the fact that he'll be at Stanford for 3 days after he may visit us the 14th. That long visit may just seal him up for Stanford...

I understand and I agree with you. But with Proise being in his ear. Also he almost flipped him last time. If he comes up with a bunch of committed prospects and talks to Jaylon i really like our chances. Also the guys on II seem like its only a matter of time. This is why the stanford game is way to important this year i am so sick of losing kids to Stanford.

Per BGI, will be visiting the 14th.

When asked if there is a chance he flips he responded, " that is something everyone will just have to wait and see."

Actually, those plans aren't finalized. He told ISD as much moments ago. He intends to visit on the 14th and the 247 article is operating under the assumption those plans will stick. It's a bit misleading as their seems to be a solid chance he doesn't make it up to campus.

Telling you we sit better with Anzalone than most of you think. Been saying that for weeks.

Talks to Anzalone often. This could be good.

Going to have to have a good season to flip him. He isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

He made it pretty simple, we have to be better than Stanford on and off the field.

We get 9 wins we flip him IMO, we don't then he will likely stick

What "off the field" areas does ND have to win?

Not with all freshmen.

Yankey-Wilkes-Schwartzstein-Danser-Fleming is a fine starting lineup.

A couple other good players like Brendon Austin as backups.

THEN, perhaps the best O-line class in a decade or more behind that.
