No offense to Corey, but I don't think he'll be quite the freak athlete that Calvin Johnson is...

I wouldn't bet on it, but his father was one of the most athletic people to pick up a basketball though...

Let me ask you, does it matter if Corey is 3/4 the athlete as Calvin? 7/8? Hell I may even take 1/2!

It looks like Corey is working on Jamel James out of Texas on twitter. I think he decomitted from Arkansas back in April. It doesn't look like he has an offer from us, but he is a 4* prospect on 247.

Not trying to take the conversation off of Corey's beastliness, just didn't know where to post the info.

Today I got sunburned for the first time I can remember. Now I finally understand why my white friends put so much sunscreen on #ithurts

*Sigh* Yes, sunburns are the worst. The absolute worst.

For some reason I love the burning sensation of sunburn. It hurts so good!!

Stumbled across a web site that had film breakdowns of our current 2013 commits and posted all of them to this thread. Now posting to the individual recruits thread.

The analysis is done by Matt Alkire who worked for Scout for a number of years. Here is his bio for anyone who cares

Matt Alkire is also employed by Fox Sports where he works as a college and high school football recruiting analyst, mainly covering the Northeast portion of the country for Scout.com where he coordinates with players, coaches and administrators at the high school and collegiate levels. He is a regular for many ESPN radio affiliates for both the NFL Draft and high school recruiting, contributes on a regular basis to Fox publications and was also featured in former New England Patriot All-Pro Brent William’s book “Recruit My Son”. He has been doing extensive film study since the 2003 season for the NFL Draft. As a football player, Alkire played both defensive end and tight end and comes from a family with a rich coaching background.

Invited to the Opening. Really excited to see how he performs. Could get a big rankings boost if he plays well.

Yeah Jaylon very well could have won MVP considering his 40 time. I think Landon Collins won last year.

Ok, so if this has been mentioned earlier, I apologize:
I was thinking about how darn tall the Admiral is and found a breakdown of how he grew:
In Junior High - 5'9"
as HS Senior - 6'7"
Navy Frosh - 6'9"
Navy Senior - 7'
NBA - 7'1"

While 7' is certainly a long long long shot, at 6'4" now, if he grows through college like his Dad did, we could have a seriously ridiculous red zone threat in our future...

He's already a big guy. He'll step on campus as the tallest WR we have.

You say it like it's a bad thing that he is 6'4" haha. I think he will be 6'5", maybe even 6'6" when he gets on campus.

What an awesome red zone threat he is going to be!

He just looks so scrawny for 192 pounds even at 6'4".

If he can get to be 6'5"+ and play like this guy, then I'll be very very happy.
