SIAP Early CFB rankings. IRISH play 5 in the Top 15

The last time ND beat UM and MSU in the same year was 2004. I'm trying to tell myself we can do it this year but it's really tough given the history of playing those 2 teams.

I have a bad feeling about all the top ten games we play. I hope Im wrong but honestly I see us losing all 3 and at at least one we shouldnt. But who knows I just know Im going to be a very pissed off man if we lose to them again, it took me being engaged to not be mad after the michigan game last year, this year...ughhhh

I feel like we should beat both Michigan teams just like I thought before last year. MSU doesn't really scare me because they play right into our strengths on defense.

I have never been involved with interest in any football team [ever] where the entire balance pan was so radically dominated by one thing. Bizarrely, Michigan has the same thing going on in the opposite direction. Perfectly WHACK situation for Notre Dame. You'd almost think the Devil himself was behind it. Roust out the Nuns and their rosaries and spiritual knuckle-rapping!! We need some REALLY scary fans to chase the Dark One outta here.


Nuns by the way were the original "rappers", getting hit by them was almost as painful as listening to modern music. My brother still has a dent in his head from a particularly successful nun. My Dad made that group grovel for that, but I thought that it was rather "on target".

You don't even need a QB see Dilfer, Trent. If you have a lights out D and your QB can prevent the stupid TOs, you will win almost every game.

the game is in Norman... either ND shows up with their best all around game in a few years... or they get blown out..

Since 1991, Nebraska, OSU, UF and FSU have better home records than OU. That said, OU has one of the best home-field advantages in CFB. ND will probably be a heavy underdog going into that game.

It figures that ND had nothing but a QB for basically the entire Weis regime and now that we finally have solid lines and athletes at the skill positions we are missing just that.
