Bullshit stomping. He was trying to sheild the ball and was running full speed. That exact same tackle happens in every single game.

Not really.... that play was tough to call. I thought that the red card was excessive, but that play is akin to a baserunner going into second base, trying to break up the double play, with his spikes up. It's really up to the official's discretion, if he feels like there was intent to harm there, or even reckless disregard for potential harm.

Its all under FIFA but I think it would pertain to international matches only. He could get a lifetime ban though. They gave him 10 game ban for all competitions associated with the EPL which carried over between two seasons. I doubt they play around with this one.

Hard to bet against Neymar for the Golden Boot. The refs will at least award Brazil 1 BS penalty along the way so that is one goal there and he will at least score one more from the run of play so he is at 6 right there.

Will be a good race for the Golden Boot though.
