Slow. That is all.

He needed to be in the 4.6 range.

I still think he sneaks in the first round, but his 40 was no good.

Our opinion is very pro Manti though....

Eh I think that's pretty accurate. The only one doing as well really is Ogletree. The rest of the guys look stiff and unnatural, especially when making a play on the ball.

Ran a slower 40 than Manti, so if Manti's 40 is what you are basing his fall on, I don't get your logic.

It was more of a question...who knows with the draft. I think Olgletree will. But that's been discussed

And after I looked at some of the other times, 4.8 is about on par with everyone else minus a couple that did real well.

Which inside linebackers are going ahead of him?

He still could be first ILB off the board and go second round. In 2011 no ILB's were taken first round and there have only been 3 guys who were drafted as ILB in the first round the last 5 drafts.

People are just killing Te'o to kill Te'o. This is a very weak LB class overall and their is not a single can't miss prospect besides him in here. Ogletree has tools but has actual red flags that people are ignoring. Minter is the third best prospect and he is smaller than Te'o, has been terrible in the drills, and ran that same time.

Why the **** does it matter what any ILB runs 40 yards in a straight line at? For LBs I'd almost completely throw out the 40... maaaaaaaybe I'd look at his 10 yard split.

Gotcha.

Sad thing is, I don't think the red flags matter as much as they should. Like Billeck said the other day, it's all relative to how good their numbers look. Put up great numbers, I don't care about red flags as much.

^This. Why should we ever care what an OL, LB(especialls ILB), and DL run in the 40? 10 and 20 yard splits for this exercise should be all that matters for these guys.
