If I remember correctly, the ball boy was trying to withhold the ball to run time off the clock... so the dude kicked him LOL

I remember seeing something about this on Sports Center when it happened, apparently the ball boy tweeted beforehand he was going to try to influence the game. Hilarious.

Yep he did tweet out that he was going to do that before hand #timewasting. So funny. His face afterward was priceless.

My prediction:
England beats Costa Rica
Italy draws Uruguay
Ivory Coast beats Greece
Columbia draws Japan

England will play to save face while Japan will give everything in the hopes that Greece will produce some sort of magic. We'll see though.

A lot of the national talking heads keep referencing the the FIFA video game playing a part in soccer's popularity. I stopped playing video games when I became a father. Is it really that popular?

All the rules and whatnot I learned from playing the FIFA 09 demo in college. We were too poor to afford the full game so me and my roommates always played each other. It's a great game to play vs. one another.

In the past 6 months, the only two video games I have played are FIFA 14 for Xbox and the original Red Alert for Playstation. Definitely extremely popular. People that have no idea of anything about soccer love it.

Awesome game. Always has been. I have been playing a version of it since I can remember. Online play has evolved into epic proportions.
