Iran did play well, but Argentina looked awful. I have watched a lot of Argentina and that was the worst I have seen them play in a while. Errant passes, stupid, long distance shots, sloppy defending, and no focus in the final third. They were lucky to escape with a victory.

When you have Messi, Aguero, Di Maria, and Higuan on the field at the same time, there is no reason not to score. There is no better attacking force in the world.

Your right. I haven't watched them play that much, and i give probably too much credit to Iran. The long distance haphazard shots had me shaking my head as well. Very surprise. Their productivity in the third also had me confused and disappointed.
Lets hope their just in a lull and will soon return to what you've seen them be.

So what I am seeing is Germany's midfield is also having trouble staying in possession. Mueller is doubleteamed and Ozil can't get inside. Seems pretty close to what happened to the U.S.

As of a fan of the game, similar to how I love watching the Spurs, I love watching Germany. They are the class of the world right now.

I was thinking the exact same thing, right down to the Spurs comparison. Just a joy to watch both teams.

Yep, Germany's attackers have just missed connecting on a couple of those low crosses. It seems just a matter of time.

But Ghana looks dangerous on the counter-attack. Let's hope the Germans get in sync. No one on this board wants to see Ghana hang around and steal a 1-0 win on a late goal.
