Need to remember, there is always a group of death guys... really sucks that it hits us when the WC is in our time zone... but our boys were gonna get hit with it at some piont... shock one of Port or Germany... beat Ghana... and through... they can pull that off in South America.

We were best team in our pot (and, IMO, by a pretty large margin) and only Costa Rica got a worse draw. Yeah, that's fair.

We have Ghana first, Portugal second, Germany last. That is the only thing to set up favorably for us.

That's true, but I would rather start off positively. If we have 6 points going into Germany, 99% chance that game won't even matter.

I like Argentina simply because of it being in South America... Brazil will fold under pressure imo... Germany is the best team in the world for my money right now but again... I have to see a Euro team win it first...

This is actually perfect. I couldn't be happpier. We get revenge on Ghana, Klinsmann defeats the fatherland, and we make Ranoldo our bitch.

For real though, easily the hardest group. I thought every group would be tough considering how deep this world cup is but some are a joke. Seriously Nigeria (36 fifa world ranking), Iran (45) and Bosnia-Herzegovina (21) all together against Argentina? Messi better seize the damn opportunity to become a legend.

In Europe, I like the Germans, Dutch, and Italians. From Asia, I like the Japanese.

We're fucked. The one positive is that we always seem to play well as underdogs with a counter attacking style.

We could easily end up with 0 points. Our best chance is to win versus Ghana (duh) first game., 3 points. Scrap a draw vs. Portugal and Ronaldo attacking Beasley and Evans... And have Germany win their first two matches, guaranteeing them a spot in the next round, so they come out a bit soft versus us, and maybe we can get a draw out of it (5 points to qualify or get in on GD).

And France... Wow. They got gifted a WC birth last time versus Ireland, got another gift getting in this year, and then get rewarded for barely qualifying.

At least if we make it to the round stage Group H looks beatable...
