lol new to the game?
Yeah, if there isn't a three AM alarm clock, extra facial hair, a pair of geese, four members of an outlaw motorcycle gang and a blender on frappé, it is just the same old, same-old.
Edit: I forgot the four nearly naked women, one of which may or may not be Kate Upton.
After DGB, Tee, Lynch, Tuitt (24hr flip), Ishaq (4am house call), and Gunner, JJ's recruitment seems pretty tame.
Agreed!
His timeline goes something like this:
- Commit to Arkansas
- Decommit from Arkansas
- Tries to commit to ND sight unseen
- Academic questions and concerns delay acceptance of commitment by ND
- Staff lays out an acamdeic "roadmap" for him to be admitted
- He's not following the roadmap
- Staff visits him and tells him he won't be admitted with his current academic standing and he needs signifcant improvement, but if he wants to visit other places they won't consider him part of the class, and they also tell him they won't visit him again... basically breaking off contact
- Widely known that there is a zero percent chance he ends up at ND and it's only a matter of time
- FINALLY officially decommits weeks after the fact
Definitely. Sure doesn't hold a candle to some of the ones of previous years... nor from this year:
-Matt Rolin being committed to South Carolina, tearing ligaments in his knee, getting the South Carolina team doctor to do his surgery, and then a couple days after the surgery dropping South Carolina and immediately committing to Florida.
-Reuben Foster... enough said. Huge *** Auburn tat, decommits from Auburn. Nice.
-Demarcus Robinson commit to Clemson, flip to Florida, flip back to Clemson... and in the middle of it all, a super shady coach. Where have we seen this one before?
The only thing weird about Jamel James' recruitment is that our staff even took his commitment in the first place... although I guess it was a pretty no lose situation for them.
I know we all saw this coming due to his grades but this is the most relaxed i have ever seen a thread about a kid de-commiting. Bryant and Folston certainly help.
If this happened 2 years ago this board would have been losing its mind. As the great Bob Dylan said " the times they are a changin"
what about that kid that in 2011 "commited" to Cal when he didnt even have any D-1 offers?
I thought it was Oregon?
Who was that guy that crossed the ND recruiting radar, that ended up at Rutgers to win a NC, that sat at the table, picked the wrong hat for a second, and then threw on the hat he wanted. Though that my not have gone down as the strangest recruitment, it certainly should top everyone's list of class acts.
Savon Huggins?
Yes, thank you almighty one! I looked for video and could find none, inteligence probably prevailed and they burned all of the footage.
Do they still call that dick-headed on the East Coast, WildMAN?

We do in Las Vegas.
Indeed.. or some might say "He aint got no pancake mix" which would mean he's a tool.
Aaron Lynch continues to be a strange commitment story......
What is the latest? Did I hear he had a kid, or was having one?
What about Jordan Presswood? Did he ever show up somewhere?
How about that kid ND recruited for db in Nix's class that was upset that he didn't get to play quarterback and he went to a MAC school, OU or KSU, is he playing? Inquiring minds want to know!
Maybe Derek Roback? He plays for Ohio and was moved to TE. He had 6 Rec's in 2011 and 7 in 2012.
