I’m sure you didn’t think Kyren or JOK were big time either. I get it, it’s easy and unoriginal to play follow the leader with the rating/recruiting sites. So be it. It’s just funny that some people refuse to think for themselves and then gripe about it online. Not to mention how flawed your logic is about LSU and Clemson’s leftovers. Yet, you don’t even realize it.
No, I didn't think they were "big time" when they signed, because they weren't yet. But I liked both their films, thought they were good prospects. They have both exceeded that much. Are you being purposely dense? I already acknowledged that we have a staff that has proven very capable of developing kids from good prospects to good players. Maybe he'll be the next JOK, I don't know. But to sit here and pretend that this kid is "big time" is a bit of a reach. He's not an immediate impact player and doesn't appear to be a plan-A for the staff. So sorry, he doesn't qualify as "big time" for me.
As for LSU and Clemson's scraps, is that not what he is? Likely processed at LSU, no room at the inn at Clemson. Tell yourself what you want. He may very well be the next coming someday, but right now he was expendable to those schools. Their scraps. Now if you want to tell me he was at the top of ND's board all along, I'll take it back and apologize. But I doubt it...
