Technically he should be to whichever school he chose. Original plan was to inform he team this week and announce at the game.

That's all speculation I suppose, but If he's a silent then that would be great with him and Kelly on the same team. Is Kelly going to wait til NSD?

Well its not like our main competition here, Oklahoma, really shined in their bowl game anyways... If I'm Caleb Kelly and McCulloch, I look at our bowl game with how much of a shit show our Linebackers were, and how Jaylon Smith is leaving, and my eyes light up with how easy rising up that depth chart would be.

But if you're doing your homework, don't you see the other talented linebackers on the roster and question if you'd get the best coaching at ND? My statement was actually meant as more of a blanket statement for the remainder of the class as a whole - I'm hoping they didn't lose too much momentum...

All in perception. Can't assume to know what they are thinking when they see our roster. Could also look at and see two Butkus winners in 4 years means pretty good coaching. Maybe the other LBs lack a work ethic and that's why they aren't on the field. I would look at two of our starting LBs possibly leaving which allows me to come in and prove myself since the others have not been able to do that and get early playing time.

With the departures of Fuller and CJ...how many spots do we have left?

I believe we can get the full 25 limit. And with potential NFL Drafts (Jaylon and Russell) we should be well under to get to the full 25. And if they get creative they can count some of the early enrollees against this years scholarship count, with the medical and transfers last year I believe we were under the 85. So, we have room. I sure would love to see LB's and Dlinemen for sure.

Random but just checked the recruiting rankings from all the sites.. ND is 5 or Higher on each site except ESPN. Why is it that ND recruiting classes ALWAYS ranked lower by them? Thanks.

Beyond the ESPN300 they seem terrible and/or bias

I wasn't sure if anyone else noticed, but ESPN did not seem to cover and barely even mention any of the other all star games. Maybe they were peeved that their game was up against college bowl games and the army game was the only football game on at that time

Who knows but just watch the slanted coverage the Essss Eeee Seee gets from no matter who commits to those schools it will get talked about. What really rubbed me wrong last year was how little coverage their #5 or 6 ranked running back got when committed to the Irish last signing day.. But some random Miss st player commits and "He's what Dak needs". GTFO espn. Sorry for the rant.

Not that easy. My math days are far behind me but, A's vaulue is absolute, not expected. I'd also argue with B, it depends on other variables like how may teams are in the mix. If there were 3 teams in the mix for all 3, and all with 33.333% then that would be better than two teams, and ND 1/3 and the other 2/3...
