Hope TJ and Theo both get some opportunities in Detroit. Wish KC would have ended up with TJ

If I'm not mistaken, his father Andre was drafted by the Lions, too.

EDIT: Ahh, he was drafted by Steelers, but also played for Lions.

Sweet Baby Jesus, finally being a Lions fan won't be so painful.

Ummm, what can I say that's politically, socially and geographically "correct."

Uh, yeah, what the hell (do I gotta?) ----

GO VIKES!!!

Man, do I have to root for the Lions now? They're kind of becoming the unoffical ND NFL team, they're gonna unseat the Vikings or whoever the previous team was.

Maybe wait till we have a secondary with a pulse before you expose yourself to that sort of pain.

Hoping to catch Lions training camp again this year. I went two years and its worth it just to watch Megatron practice up close. Anyone who's never been to see an NFL training camp day I would definitely reccomend it. You learn so much by watching the players and coaches

LOVE Nix, Martin Watt, etc. I appreciate Tuitt (though I maintain he made a mistake coming out after Jr season). However, I will be rooting for NO ONE more than TJ from this class. The kid has been a rock for this team both on and off the field, a truly great person. I hope he manages to get his in the League.

It was supposed to be 'word'.

^ thank you

EDIT: I could be WAY OFF here, but I kind of see TJ turning into this generation's Donald Driver.

man Driver was a freak with his longevity. Not sure the comparisons to their skillsets is too accurate though, Driver was a track star "athlete" type coming out of Alcorn State who learnt his craft before emerging for the Packers. I feel like TJ is more of a technician.

Agreed. I'm thinking in terms of longetivity, toughness, and reliability/clutchness.

totally agree with you there man, I can see TJ being a Career Lion and definitely a fan favourite, he will be still playing in his 30's like one of those immortal brandon stokely, driver, mushin muhammed types

WRs
Megatron, Tate, T.J., Broyles, Olgetree...

TEs
Fauria, Pettigrew, Ebron...

With Stafford slinging that rock this could be a very potent offense. Their defense needs to play better but they definitely have the talent to win their conference.

Don't forget Reggie Bush, J-Bell and Theo Riddick too!
Watching Stafford practice is funny as hell though, with all the weapons he has, he still locks onto Megatron on practically every play :-D

I'm a homer on both fronts, Detroit and ND, but with our WR as it sits today he should have no problem getting in the rotation and eventually possibly even solidifying the #3 spot.

how many keepers do you keep each year?

unlimited with big caveat of: we can keep any guy who we drafted in rounds 5 and later, but you lose the pick of the round the sleeper you keep is drafted in less 3 rounds, in order to keep them.

so if i take TJ this year in the 8th round, in next years draft if i wanted to keep him i would lose my 5th round pick. 8th round 2014 minus 3 rounds in 2015=a 5th rounder in 2015.

hope this makes sense...its somewhat complicated and hard to explain.

You should be pissed at your commissioner. That's a terrible setup. As a 8 year vet if fantasy, and a five time commish, that is a terrible draft structure and completely uncompetitive. I would never be in that league. No offense, but I would tell your commish to chill with the "over regulation" and free up your league for more competition and player movement.

Makes perfect sense now. I knew there was a variation outside of an outright, keep 1 or 2 or 3 with no ramifications league.

I like that idea. May steal it. I hate blanket keeper leagues....keeps it interesting

Hearing from a very good Lions source that TJ will be put on IR for the year. Nerve damage in his arm.
