Bingo. BTW, when you said he was your #1 want at WR for this class, the posters that commented on that had some funny rips (i.e., the Cubs joke).

That's ok. We all have our different wants in this class. Holmes is 6'1", runs a 4.5(not slow), and has a 39 inch verticle(that's insane). So his athletic ability is through the roof

And us Cubs fans just go to the games for the beer. Lol

Holmes seems very comparable to Brent (again, I'm terrible at evaluating and therefore comparing talent).

I think Sam Mustipher is next.

That's a very intriguing pick to me. Really would like for him to be apart of this class! Love his ability to play along both sides of the line and aside from him looking like a great fit for us he has a great offer sheet to boot! Hope you are right!

Thomas Aquinas plays great talent and Holmes' offer list is pretty impressive

I don't pay much attention to their listed measurable because they're almost always wrong.

But IDK. I might like Brent over Holmes. In their films, the athleticism looks very similar, and it SEEMS like Brent is a bit bigger. And I'm not saying this because Brent is a ND commit and Holmes isn't; if anything, I'm more critical about ND commits.

I think Drake Harris is far and away the best WR this year (and he will probably go to Michigan, ****)

Would be dissapointed if Thomas Holley isn't a part of this class. The sky is the limit for this kid.

Not sure how many NG's we r taking this cycle, so far it sounds like one. While I agree with you on how much upside Holley has, I have one worry. We r going to need the NG we get this cycle to come in and play almost immediately. Everything I've read on Holley is that he is going to need some time. In fact sapp made the statement that the staff loves Frazier. So I would be very interested to see where he stands on the list of NG's.

Though I read here and on one of the services we'd take at least 2 NGs?

Whiskey, thinking your original prediction was 2. Am I suffering flashbacks from the 80s.

ND wouldn't take two pure NGs that could move to other DE positions. I think they would take a more versatile guy that could play both DE and NG along with a pure NG, along with a CAT / DE (Andrew Williams hopefully)

I am just relaying information that sapp posted yesterday. One NG and OLB/DE to complete the Dline haul. I can see a little give in that tho as well because I have a hard time believing we r going to stop recruiting McDowell.

McDowell, Clark, Holley, Frazier, and Carter will all continue to be recruited heavily. If one of them commits eventually, that is when you will see us pull back on some others I believe, especially if it is a NG.

If we get McDowell he's more like a EV prospect that could switch between the DE and DT. Love getting those big fast pass rushers.

I would have to imagine that they'd take McDowell or Carter no matter what. Especially Carter.

I am usually a pretty optimistic person but if I ask myself this question. Who is next? My answer is I have no idea and that doesn't instill a lot of confidence.

I'm a bit surprised with recruiting so far, I expected more interest. I know it's very early but I'm surprised, I figured we Would have Hood by now and really thought we would be major players for peppers and malik guess we will see

we do seem to be very quiet on the recruiting front, what bums me out is the fact we should be capitalizing on the momentum from last season and getting into it with more elite guys than what we are.

lack of interest on the OL is the most disappointing to me.
