Wouldnt it be logical if it was someone still on campus, anyone know who hasnt gone home yet.

We needed him to stand up and lead the team in a super, season defining game. And he folded like a cheap tent. Didn't make the throws, got picked off at the wrong time again. And blew TD throws. Now it is the defense (like Harrison 3 ints, and Floyds domination) to bail Tommy out of the games the rest of the year like they did in the Sun Bowl. This may be hard on Tommy, I like Tommy and he isn't a Bad QB. He just isn't good enough to lead ND to the promised land again. And under the lights, under pressure, season defining like I said earlier Tommy didn't come through--not the only one. But, the most important one. Sorry, Tommy is Tommy.

Get off of Tommy's back, last time I checked Brian Kelly is the head coach at Notre Dame and we are sitting at home watching the games on the tv. So, I'm pretty sure that he knows what talent it takes to win football games. Remember Tommy is still a SOPHOMORE aka young QB. So we are still going to get some mental mistakes throughout the ball game. Then even if we get Gunner, he will not cure all of our offensive misques throughout the year. Having Gunner at QB will probably set the offense back a year because he doesn't know the playbook and he can't make the reads yet. Plus on top of that we would have to go through more QB growing pains that come with playing QB, yes he is a 5-star but that doesn't necassary translate into the college game. Lastly Tommy will probably be our QB for the next two years, unless Hendrix or Golston can step-up in the offseason and show BK that they are capable of showing up Tommy in spring ball or Tommy somehow gets hurt they are going to play behind him. Tommy will only get better with time.
