Seriously?! I thought Jones was planning on another visit for the banquet?

It will be like any other year, we will win some and we will lose some. He's being dramatic. We can help ouselves a lot by finishing the season strong and winning out. Lots of things will happen with recruiting over the next couple of months. Some will be good and some will be bad. It always is.

Obviously the loss on Saturday didn't land any of the recruits we had on campus. Any word from any of them on IF they liked ND?

If I were a defensive lineman I would feel pretty good about playing early. Pretty much any top tier defender for that matter.

Lynch, tuitt, and possibly Williams. Day is good but not great. This a need for top recruits.

EVERY year we need to land a nasty DT and a playmaking DE. At DT, I am torn between the huge, massive body (Tuitt, Cage, Jones) or the short/stocky, powerful high motor types (Laws, Day). I guess I want a clogger who can push his man into the backfield. At DE I like the tall, long fast guys who can run down a RB on a sweep or turn the corner for sacks.

I agree that's why I am so adamant we must land King and Robertson next cycle, two great looking DE prospects right in our backyard. I think we should apply the pressure on Prince too, I cant picture OSU landing all of them when they have Cooper and a great shot at Bosa Jr.

I think we got both this year. Both a huge massive body in Tiassum and a powerful, stocky, high motor guy in Taylor. I think Dew-Treadway may be the best of the 3, and he kinda has qualities of both. He has a great motor for a 3-tech, and has the frame to be an absolute monster. He could also play DE, but I like him better at DT. We need to land a pass-rushing DE.

Which prospect do we get a verbal from this weekend? I think it is now or never for Iman Marshall and Alize Jones.

Are we out of the running for ESB at WR?

I believe the JUCO RB if he has a commitable offer. He's visiting this weekend right?

I think if we land another WR, it'll be Cager. Seems like it's trending more towards him. Haven't heard much of anything on ESB recently.

Marshall is a long, long, long, LOOONG shot even with the visit. Jones is probably the most likely to commit from where I see it, maybe Kinnel if we make a huge impact.

I didn't see him on the list that Loy put out, but I think he is. If so, I'd say it's him or Alize Jones.

Just seen over in his profile that he will visit Louisville after ND this weekend. So unless he is blown away (which I'm not doubting) he probably won't commit this weekend.

Smith doesn't have an offer yet. I'm not sure they'd take a commitment from him at this time until they see how the dust settles with some other guys.

Marshall and Jones can come whenever they want, you really think the staff is going to throw down an ultimatum on these guys?

ESB still in running expect no one knows what that kid is doing

How many of these guys can we take though with the rumored "scholarship reductions" looming over head? God, if this comes to fruition, our administration is a bunch of fucking tools.

Heck, we already have scholarship reductions with all of our transfers and medical hardship guys. We don't even have full 85, we have to give the scholarship to walk ons because we have extra scholarships to give away.

This is what happens when we get so many guys tranfer--Kiel, EV, Sykes, our 5th year guys, Neal, etc.

And Medical Hardship guys/kicked out of school.

Lot of open scholarships that went unfilled.

Is Cager as tall as ESB? That is pretty much what I want...a tall burner who can streak and jump.

I know Marshall is a long shot BUT we did get his @ss on campus in Indiana in December...

A half inch shorter at The Opening, but he has a bigger vertical.

PLEASE tell me that one of the "Insiders" on this board some some good news about Alize and Biggie?!

Looks like Jones at RB will happen after his decommit from OK State. Sounds like the RB from UAB is legit power back???

Check his thread. It's probably 50-50 with USC at best.

Jordan Howard from UAB (as expected) can't transfer here due to his credits from UAB not working here.

Any chance ND tries to get back in it with Jeremy Smith or was that a credit transfer thing also?

why? All the news you want has already been reported on this site.

ND's academic regime seems tough to get right as a HS player. Transfer credits from other schools don't seem to get accepted by ND Admissions very easily.
