I see ESB as a big bodied receiver/Split TE. If there is one thing about this class is it is full of versatile athletes. Its my understanding this class is mainly depth and outside of DL, BK seems to picking up bodies that can play multiple positions or at least provide several options either on offense or defense.

Newsome is and always will be a take. Don't know why you would say otherwise. He dropped us after seeing C.J. at the Opening do werk and didn't want to go to a school that already had a comparable guy committed at his position. ND would have taken both happily.

Yeah, I think Lovette had some flexibility to play different positions, but I get your point. For me, it's just tough to see us turn talent like that away, especially with all that speed, when you know we won't be at 85 in February.

Agreed, I don't think the staff turned him away as some have suggested. In fact, TJ has mentioned on a few occasions that some on the offensive staff want multiple slots on the field at the same time.
