Why do we even think a change will be made? F. Lee Swarbrick, Kelly's attorney, informed us on the State Television Network that everything is fine.

Some nuggets (from about 9-12 minutes in):
"We want to win and we want to win championships, but if that's all you're measuring it [the program] on you'll get really bad reads."
Right, but surely winning plays some role in your assessment?
"You don't have any of the signs of a program in distress."
Losing to garbage teams week in and week out, weekly social media embarrassments, coaches being fired, HC blaming everyone else, ND becoming the easy win on everyone's schedule, etc., etc.? What
would constitute "distress," counsel?
"Some teams...win games that maybe they shouldn't. They find a way. This team has struggled to find a way. It has been in a position to win every game."
Meaning: it is all random. This is a loser attitude. And we shouldn't be in a "position" to win games. We should be totally destroying these garbage opponents.
"My confidence in Brian is as strong today as it was when we were on our way to an undefeated season and a national championship [sic]."
If so, F. Lee Swarbrick is delusional. Also, can we stop with the 'undefeated season' B.S.? It's an embarrassment to see people wearing t-shirts that say something everyone knows to be false.
"I understand the distress our fans feel, especially in a social media world that wants instant results..."
It's year 7. Year. 7.
This circus has become a disgrace to the university, but the higher-ups are circling the wagons around Kelly. If ND is going to insult our intelligence in this way, while demanding more and more for tickets, the whole lot should be fired, starting with Swarbrick.
