Rumors that the next God of War will be set in Egypt…

People joke about taking vacation for GTAVI.

I will take a week of vacation for a GoW set in Egypt.

Got First berserker Kazhan. Me likely very much.

Been playing Monster Hunter Wilds with my son. He trying to get me levels up. Been nice to play something with him that we can both enjoy before he heads off to college.

Grinding out some CIV 7 this week, mostly enjoyable but a lot of the UI is dogshit. First patch was helpful and I think with another patch or two plus mods it will be a really good hang. I give it 3 wonders out of four.

Rumors of a AAA Castlevania game getting announced soon,… here’s hoping it’s not only true but it’s a throwback to the OG story and not a Lords of Shadow clone

My HunterID is HD7MP3DS if you want another Hunter to run with. I've got 100+ hours in and I'm basically done until the update drops next week, but I've been branching out to other weapons lately and helping my buddies in Hunts. I've been mostly running Hammer lately, but I still have some skill with Longsword and I've been trying to learn Charge Blade. I've done a bit in the past with Light Bowgun and Bow.

[EDIT] Bad timing, but I'll be out a week as we take the kids to Florida for Spring Break starting tomorrow. I'll be around tonight probably, but after that won't be back till 4/5 or 4/6.

Assassin's Creed: Shadows - THE IRISHLION REVIEW

It's okay.

Beautiful setting, but not as beautiful as GoT.

Fun combat, but not leveled enough to have unlocked all the fun RPG goodies yet.

Exploration encouraged, and climbing to viewpoints has a purpose again, which is nice.

Japanese aesthetic is elite when it comes to gear loadouts.

The leveling system is interesting, not sure how I feel yet. You have to complete goals at various locations to unlock knowledge levels, which are independent of your player level and skill points. You can only spend your skill points from leveling after you hit a certain knowledge level. The map, with true "fog of war" that does NOT clear when you hit a viewpoint, makes this a challenge if you're hunting for quick levels to get certain skills, as you can't just run through the necessary locations one-by-one... which is probably by design. But I'm an old man with young kids, and I'm lucky to play for two hours after everyone else is in bed. I don't have time for that lol.

Story is actually good so far imo, loved the opening to Naoe's story especially. Seeing the enemies during their intro was a pretty cool moment that felt like legit cinema.

I have NOT reached any of the controversial/woke storylines yet, will update when I get there.

RATING SO FAR: 3.5 / 5 Skyline Cheese Coneys

There's also some cool little shit that I didn't mention, like those Japanese floors that make noise as you walk on them to alert residents to movement, and certain destructive environments when you're fighting in the interior of a building. I'm sure there are skills related to these environmental items, but as I said... as someone that's constantly tired with limited gaming time, I haven't gotten there yet lol

Have not run into anything yet, but I’ve mostly been exploring and taking down bandits in random camps. Have done some of the “flashback” missions for Naoe. Not many main story missions otherwise.

I did see a GTAIV-style slingshot bug that I need to try though… get your character caught between a building and wall that is supposed to be scalable but is NOT programmed for the parkour response, and she’ll flail around for about 10 seconds and then gets blasted across the map to a random point over the water lol

Sounds like a red dead 2 bug. I can get my horse (if done right) to jump off a ramp and literally get sling shot halfway across the map. It's friggin hilarious.

Any Warzone players drop back into Verdansk? Gotta say I have enjoyed it quite a bit so far.

Is Warzone free again, or do I need to buy Black Ops 6 to get it?

Played the free version quite a bit years ago… was never very good lol. Got a couple 2nd place finishes, never a win

Same. I'm not very good. Tbh it seems like the key is to basically avoid conflict.

Haven't jumped back in yet, but the movement is so much faster now than the first go around on Verdansk

This might make some people laugh but I been playing the hell out of Farm Simulator 22. Who would have thought being a farmer was so addicting. 🤣

Star Wars: Outlaws. The launch was disappointing, but they made some big changes with a new creative director. Gunplay and stealth was bumped up big time, and the game handles a lot better. It's very much an Ubisoft game. Lots of map icons and microtransactions, but it's legit fun now if you're a big SW fan.
