Switching gears from that Nintendo garbage, where we all know the battery life on the portable aspect of the Switch is going to be terribad, I was grinding on Assassin's Creed II last night in an effort to go for 100% completion, just so I could say I've done it for once after having played it twice before. I had nothing left but the stupid gotdamn feathers to collect so I could unlock the final weapon and get the Auditore Cape.
I spent like three hours last night just going from location-to-location via a guide that I found, and still only ended up with 99 feathers after visiting every spot in the guide... I had missed a feather somehow, and had no idea where to look. I found it in stupidass Forli, the smallest town in the game, by pure luck when I decided to start my re-search there. I guess it was the very first feather location listed in the guide for Forli, and I had overlooked it on the first go-around.
That sucked.
To top it off, I found that "The Ezio Collection" is treated as one single game for "unlockable" purposes in the Ubisoft store, where you need to spend XP credits to unlock certain locations.
So here I am, thinking I've got 100% on ACII, only to realize that there's a single Templar Lair that is missing from the DNA strand because I don't have enough Ubisoft points to unlock it yet, and I'll probably have to hit some major trophies/badges on both Brotherhood AND Revelations in order to earn the necessary XP.
What a bullshit way to organize/restrict unlockable locations.
