I started playing zombies on BO2 because I got the game late and everyone killed me on multilayer. That was the best zombie game of all 3 black ops and idk if anyone would disagree, so I got hooked.

By far the best, got to level 64 with four players on Kino. What was the spaceship base map called?

I am a sports game dweeb who just wandered in to this thread...how have I not heard of EA Access?!?! Any cliff notes for me? Available for PS3, or only the 4? (Yes I know what google is :) )

Currently playing NBA 2K16/College football/and The Show...about to break back out the last EA College Hoops game. I say currently as in between work/wife/kiddo, about 3 games per week, if I'm willing to play at midnight. :)

Pretty sure it's only on Xbox One

Stayed up until about 1:00 (which is LATE for me) playing Battlefront. I've never been a shooter guy and this is the first game besides FIFA that I've played online but wow I had fun. The terrain, skies, and characters are absolutely gorgeous. I only played the very basic "Blast" mode so I'll report back once I've played some of the more interesting ones, like those with vehicles.

Is "Blast" just a basic team deathmatch? Most kills wins?

Yeah, 10 v 10. First to 100 kills or most kills after 10:00.

I love multiplayer, and tactical stuff is fun when you are playing with a group of friends that you know how to communicate with, but classic deathmatch is my shiz.

Is it good enough that I should just go ahead and anticipate using a sick day next Tuesday?

You still haven't added me on Xbox Live so you haven't earned my advice.

This thread is proof that chasing tail as a single guy in his late 20s (me) is more time consuming than being a father. When the hell do you all have time to play video games?

My daughter goes to bed at 7:00. It's her mother that's time consuming, not her.

Apparently Idiot Savant is super powerful.

Just saw this today on another site, completely missed it during character creation while making my Low Intelligence character. I'm kicking myself a bit now, but I am having fun playing through with max Strength and Endurance, melee only. It's a challenge, especially in crafting because I'm refraining from boosting Intelligence past 1, so I can't take the Science perk for crafting purposes. All my weapons and armor are basically low tech stuff crafted with Blacksmith/Armorer perks only.

My PC copy arrived yesterday with the Pipboy, going to reroll a more traditional character with more balanced stats and keep playing the low int guy on Mondays when I go to my buddy's house.

Can someone explain to me how DLC works on multiplayer games? I've been playing Battlefront for a few days and I'm loving it. Basically the way the multiplayer games run is you play a map, the battle ends, and the same 20 or 40 people switch sides and you move on to the next map, which starts 30 seconds later. What happens once people start getting new maps via DLC or the season pass? If I'm playing with 40 people and half of them have the Battle of Jakku and half of them don't, does Battle of Jakku just not show up in the map rotation? Or do you not get matched with people who have dissimilar content from you in the first place? Does it make a difference if you're hosting versus jumping in with randos?

So I'm getting the PS4 tomorrow (with Battlefront) and I preemptively went out and bought 4 games:

Fallout 4
Fifa 16
Batman: Arkham Knight
The Order 1886.

I got talked into the Order by the guy at Target because it was $20 and regretted it immediately after I looked at the reviews. Like a n00b, I opened up the packaging before deciding whether I really wanted it.

As far as Battlefront goes, considering I don't love to play online, I'm guessing I will grow tired of the game after about a week and will want to trade it in. Do you guys think the resale value will be pretty high?

If you go to a Gamestop or something it'll probably be around $40

Pretty sure it'll pair you up with groups of people that have all the same content as you.

Thanks. Also what would you guess I might get for a 120GB PS3, two controllers, and a Move? I'm assuming my 30 or so games may average out to about 2 dollars each.

You went from no console to five games? Bold move. I started with FIFA 16, Shadow of Mordor, and Battlefront. I'm going to wait until I'm good and sick of at least Battlefront before I delve into Fallout.

Target had that buy 2 get 1 free deal I wanted to take advantage of. And my plan is the same as yours. Play Battlefront until I'm tired of it then move on to Fallout. I figure I can play Batman somewhere down the line.

Still haven't confirmed any low intelligence dialogue options in Fallout 4, so that's not looking too good, but I did notice this: being drunk can affect your dialogue options. Time to hoard beer!

If anyone hasn't done this yet, very helpful for modding weapons and armor:

Also, if you have any extra Power Armor suits, you can have a human companion use them and they won't use up Fusion Cores. Nice little bonus to their armor and damage if they're melee.

It depends, I know Gamestop usually has a deal where if you trade in an old gen console for a next gen console you get like 100 or 150. But that may not be the case anymore. I usually just call my Gamestop and confirm before I decide if I want to go in, they usually groan about it but screw them.

Ended up not getting my pre-ordered Battlefront tonight, which is a bummer, but I didn't realize my Xbox live membership had expired, and I wouldn't have been able to get a new one tonight during the release anyway. Now work tomorrow will be torture while I wait to get out and pick it up.

Also, any of you Fallout players experienced any of the game-breaking glitches yet?

My flight sims are between updates, FO4 is too combat heavy, this is what I'm playing now!

Nothing game breaking to report yet, and there really isnt much to really report in the way of bugs. This is probably the cleanest release Bethesda has done in awhile out of the box. I've done most of my game playing on PS4 so far though. I'll likely get a few minor glitches on PC as I tweak and mod it.

I believe it ended on November 14 but I'm not positive. Also, I'm going to assume your misspelling of my name was an accident...

I read about a bug that causes the game to crash during a certain quest related to building your settlement(s), so I was just curious.

I think EA may have shot themselves in the foot with the ten hour trial prior to Battlefront's release. I'm still excited to go pick up my physical copy today, but the fact that I've been playing the game for a week already takes some of the excitement out of it.
