I'll send you a PM. Don't want to clog up the thread with this.Hmmm. I'm conflicted on this. I think if you take care of your body and not just "throw weight" around, you can lift into older age. But I have yet to live it. I've had hip impingements here and there but I don't plan on stopping squatting. I'm not trying to get to 500+ because I have no need. Curious how often you squatted, form, and other programming choices.
There are so many variations, one doesn't need to squat heavy often. Goblet, Overhead, front, zercher and then break out from the squat camp and do lunge variations, sleds, kneesovertoes guy's stuff. I'm hopeful we can keep young(ish) legs/hips into older age and still exercise to keep healthy levels of muscle mass.
Time will tell and appreciate your input.
So the wife finds another vanity and orders it through Home Depot. Was supposed to arrive last Friday. Dude even called and confirmed on Friday arriving by 5:00. 4:45 I call and the dude is going to check on the driver and call me back. Never arrives and dude never calls back. I call his number and now he's not answering. Call HD on Monday and am told it wasn't scheduled for delivery yet. WTF? Why did this guy call and tell me it was being delivered? Supposed to arrive this Friday. I'm taking bets.Remodeling the master bath. Wife finds a vanity online thru Perigold (Wayfair owned and operated). She orders and we get an email the next day with the delivery date. A couple of days later we get another email telling us the vanity will be delivered between 3-7. Delivery day arrives. 6:30 and so far no vanity so I call the number provided. I get an automated message to leave name and number and they will get back with us. About an hour later, no vanity so I call again, with no luck. The next day I call and get an apology and a promise to call me back that day with a date for later in the week. Never get a return call, but that evening I get an email that the vanity will be delivered next Monday between 3-7. It's now Monday at 7:00 with no vanity. I call Perigold and request a refund. They tell me it's on the way and to give them until 8:00 and call back if it's not there by 8:00. 8:00, no vanity. I tell them I want a refund. They say no problem, but there will be a deduction of $124 for the reroute of the truck. WTF? I tell them no way I'm paying for something that didn't get delivered twice. I'm told to call back tomorrow and a refund will be issued. As soon as I hang up, I get a call from the trucking company saying they will be there in 15 minutes. Coincidence? Truck shows up and the guy tells me the marble top is cracked! F@ck! I refuse delivery and call back. The only right thing they did was get a full refund issued right away. Back to vanity hunting.
Agree. Besides skills developed in one sport can be utilized in other sports. Everyone knows I like my FB players to be wrestlers.Whoa, I should've expounded a little. The data suggests kids should continue playing multiple sports and not going to year round model until very late, ie - 12th grade or only in college to avoid burnout and improve happiness. I'm saying 12 is too young to focus on a single sport, that's fuckin crazy. Most kids haven't even hit puberty at that age. Kids should be testing themselves in multiple sports for as long as possible.
Kids who go year round with any sport burn out at very high rates. Kids who are 'forced' to do anything burn out at very high rates.
That surprises me because I've always had great experienced with HD delivery and swear by it. Can't believe the efforts you and the Mrs. have had to go through for this...So the wife finds another vanity and orders it through Home Depot. Was supposed to arrive last Friday. The only place I've ever seen them is a tiny sports gear store in Gatlinburg, TN... but that was several years ago. Idk if they would have survived the wildfires and the pandemic.I have never in my life been able to find a Notre Dame trucker (surf style) hat. The book store does not sell them. Only baseball caps. My fat head does not look good in baseball caps. I always wear the surf style trucker hats. ND does not sell them, anywhere.
You looking for something like these? I bought an ND trucker hat last year and love it.I have never in my life been able to find a Notre Dame trucker (surf style) hat. Thanks man. This is possibly what I was looking for. Gotta get my fat head in it to see. I do well with the RVCA style hats because they are taller at the crown. That last one looks like it could be a winner. You looking for something like these? I bought an ND trucker hat last year and love it.

Tik tok in general grinds my gearsThese videos (tik tok or otherwise) of people watching another person's video and reacting to it with shocked face... "Here's how to make French toast wrapped in bacon!!" The video plays on the right and on the left they literally do nothing but put on fake surprised look while using someone else's video... and there's hundreds of these channels now. Every time I see one shared it just bugs the shit out of me. lol
I don't do tik tok at all but I see the videos shared elsewhere and such,... yeah, they're all over the place right now.Tik tok in general grinds my gears
But that's dumb. I haven't come across that, but cmon. And you know they're probably getting paid for that shit.

The one caveat to this for me is the lone parent loading young children and multiple babies into the car. I have seen stressed mothers leave carts after loading kids in car seats. I’m not sure I’d want to walk far from a car full of babies. What grinds me is when the young dude, no kids does it. Or the fat couple that just doesn’t want to walk. The people who just leave their shopping cart anywhere randomly in the parking lot might be the lowest form of life on the planet.
This is prob the most cited thing in this thread,... which speaks to how infuriating it is for most of us... lol Drives me crazy no doubt. The people who just leave their shopping cart anywhere randomly in the parking lot might be the lowest form of life on the planet.
Dear lord,.........Have you seen on YouTube people reacting to people reacting to videos?
I don't have exceptions for this. Not when both my wife and I have had all three of ours at the store by ourselves and have been able to accomplish the feat of returning the cart to the cart port after getting the groceries and kids loaded into the van. I've seen it done on several trips to the store. To your point, it's not parents who refuse the effort. The one caveat to this is the lone parent loading young children and multiple babies into the car. I have seen stressed mothers leave carts. Meh, I usually try and take the cart from the lone mom. I don’t want that stress. Particularly at stores that don’t have cart returns like Trader Joe’s. That grinds my gears even more. Drop off your hundreds of dollars in over priced groceries and then walk the cart back into the store with your 4 screaming kids from the far end of the parking lot because you’re too cheap to hire cart pushers or install cart returns. But I agree, if there’s a cart return nearby, you should return it.I don't have exceptions for this. I'd venture to say that the perpetrators are not mothers with multiple kids anyway. It's just assholes who are lazy and have no regard for others.
