The way that guy threw the baseball he made even those unis look great. Seeing it up close from the dugout was awesome-- glad I was a pitcher and thank goodness for the DH.

I just saw a “memory” on Facebook that ND released a teaser for the 2016 shamrock series jerseys exactly 2 years ago today. I’ve been wondering when we will see something for this year’s jerseys and getting pretty pumped for what is, if nothing else, always a fun topic of discussion and source of debate.

So it got me thinking... what will the jerseys look like? Would love to hear any guesses, speculation, or rumors out there!

My out of left field (pun intended) guess is that in tribute to Yankee Stadium, we come out in pinstripes. I think if it is done right it could look pretty awesome and classy.

Haha sorry! I love uniforms and uniform design (even the terrible looking ones). Create-a-team is easily my favorite feature of any sports video game, and in another life I’m sure I design sports uniforms for a living. If only I knew how to use photoshop...

That's them. Pieces of vinyl that you stick on a smooth surface. You can make your own by cutting pieces of vinyl(craft store) to fit your need. Get creative and use magic markers for design. If you have a penchant for uniform design look outside the box.

Or spend $700 for Photoshop.

Oh now I see where your heads at. I sincerely appreciate the recommendation, but I don’t think physical design is what I’m looking for. I prefer graphic design for the low cost (hence, why I’ve never learned photoshop) and infinite free corrections/attempts. I actually really enjoy something as simple as the uniform design in the Madden games, but obviously the limited creativity is only so satisfying. It’s ok though, I’m not trying to get into a career in uniform design - like I said, that’s for some other future life of mine.

Anyway, now that I’ve successfully bumped and derailed this thread all in the same day I’ll just go back to lurking until I see some news on the new shamrock series unis... hopelly soon!

Love that look, would be awesome if they recreated something similar. Would have to do a complete modification of the uniform, though, since it wouldn't match current helmet/pants combo. More likely scenario would probably be closer to the Dijon mustard colored unis the men's bball team wears. I think under armour did something similar with the Kelly green Fenway jerseys from a few years back. Pretty much matched the men's bball alternate uniforms.

Try out a program called GIMP if you're interested in photoshop. It's got all the essentials of PS and it's completely free. Good to use to see if you think you'd like photoshop before you throw $50 at it, or however much they want to charge for it now.
