I'm now on Blood Meridian, 50 pages in and I can tell this will be good.Just finished The Crossing (second in The Border Trilogy), very good but hard to read at some points. Very philosophical but meandering around like a knight errant.

BK is way too short. I pictured him kind of as the Big Bad from True Detective Season 1. That actor in my opinion could likely play Judge Holden wellWas the Judge Brian Kelly in your mind?
All those romance novels, plus fifty shades and twilight series all woman porn. This is why ladies love Lady Chaterley’s Lover

Let me add to Bishop's recommendation. Dostoyevsky had such a profound insight into the human mind. I loved Crime and Punishment and The Idiot. Polar opposite protagonists who are masterfully crafted.
I have not read "Demons" or "Notes from the Underground" but they are on my list.
Just about finished with the Dark Tower series, maybe 200 pages remaining in the 7th and final book (not counting 4.5, Wind Through the Keyhole, which I recently purchased and plan on reading). Man, what a journey.
Wolves of the Calla (#5) was actually very, very enjoyable, though it was definitely overshadowed a bit by how epic Wizard and Glass was.
Song of Sussanah was very "meh" and I'm glad it was the shortest since The Gunslinger. Just seemed like a filler, albeit a necessary one.
Has anyone read Wind Through the Keyhole? Just trying to figure out if I should jump right into that and call it a day on the DT series, or take another break from it and pick something else up.
