I've found the Byers brothers characters to be weird this season.
Probably due to not having a father figure I gather.
Lol,… seriously tho. They’re both complete dead weight. Mike too much of this season

Watched 'Major Hooters' last night.
A movie about a well endowed female Drill Instructor who whips a group of young male recruits into shape.

Watched the first two episodes of Stranger Things on Netflix last night with my wife. Very impressed so far:

Jealous. I wish I could go back I have nothing to watch now.

Any suggestions? Here are the shows I love/have seen all seasons of. I have never been a show guy other than these ones. I am extremely selective and normally can’t watch shows. These ones I was hooked…

Stranger Things - loved
Yellowstone - loved
1883 - liked
Breaking Bad - liked
Ozark - liked
Walking Dead - liked

Other than that, the amount of shows I’ve started and turned off is too many to count. Those are the ones I watched all seasons of, so I must’ve liked them.

Any suggestions from anyone based on that sort of odd combination?

If you have HBO Max, I recently watched Rome and it would fall somewhere between like/love. Good amount of action and drama

Mind hunters is wild,… I love Fincher and I love select episodes but it’s so hit or miss and I really don’t care for many of the story lives

For any WW2 aficionados, Netflix has new documentary out on Pearl Harbor. It breaks down minute by minute of the attack.
Watched it last night. I already knew most of it, but was still a very compelling watch.

I put it on and was planning on only watching the first episode before going to bed. Almost three hours later I was finishing up the series, lol.

I did the same thing. Nothing really new but was cool to see from a minute by minute perspective.

I have two episodes left of The Terminal List.

I'm vested to the point I want to finish it but I can't say I'm enjoying it. In terms of Amazon series, Man in the High Castle and Jack Ryan are way better.

I can't really say much good about it. Bloody action but nothing really interesting.

Stranger Things. Pretty good stuff.
Just finished it, thought it was good. Minor gripes:
Nancy needs to listen to Tupac and aim for the head. There are some minor retcons/plot holes to Season 1/2, but meh. Some of the supporting character stuff was really pointless and contrived, but now at least the whole gang is back together.

I like Better Call Saul, but I find it to be very slow and drawn out at times. I was way more engaged with Breaking Bad, Ozark and Bloodline.

I finished up Terminal List and I thought it was okay. I'd give it 2 stars out of 4. Way too much shark jumping, bloody violent action that wasn't necessarily interesting or compelling action, plot holes I could not ignore or look past and an ending I wound up predicting by the 5th episode.
It could have been condensed into a two hour movie.

The Knick is one of the better shows I have seen in a long time. Only two seasons but the acting and production quality were excellent. Very very well done.

Not sure what's next. Was thinking of going back and doing The Wire over again.

Jon Bernthal needs to win some kind of award for his performance as Sgt. Wayne Jenkins.

If you liked The Wire, you'll like this. It is a true story. Six episodes. Absolutely fantastic.

Day 50. Winter is setting in. Hunting and trapping is more difficult. Participants haven't eaten much lately. Down to 3 on Alone.

I tried. Couldn’t finish first episode. Fell asleep.
Buy a monster or Red Bull and start over.

It’s definitely a slow burn but the writing is just so precise and tight. The amount of tension they create for a prequel where you already know the ending is incredible.

Hulu's The Old Man's the best thing on TV.

I'm a sucker for Evil on Paramount. (Christine Lahti's what every 70+ year old should look like)
