I have been experimenting with Sazeracs and different whiskeys and bourbons both wheaters and ryes.

I have to say I like the high rye whiskey with Sazerac.

Just okay, somewhat odd aftertaste...

Thanks. I was tempted to grab the mixed 24 pack at Costco for $28 but I haven't heard great things about this Hop Revolver (it will change hops about every 3 months) and Stone Delicious is just ok to me so I passed. Thanks for validating that choice

Have you seen Stone Give Me IPA or Give Me Death?

I picked up a bomber of it but I haven't opened it. It is an IIPA brewed at their Virginia brewery with Raspberries and Blackberries. Could be good or bad.

Sounds like my thing, but so did the Tangerine they recently put out... wasn't terrible but I wasn't much of a fan... honestly haven't liked any of Stones recent releases over the last year plus all the much.

Noah's Mill bourbon.

Oh I'm jealous. I love that one. Also a big Rowan's Creek fan, which I think is also Willett.

I'm having 2014 BCBS that I cellared for a couple years. Aged ok. Not as well as I'd hoped, but I may have had unrealistic expectations.

Cheap Malbec. Deciding on whether or not to have some Chartreuse since it's Mardi Gras.

Founder's Frootwopd Cherry Ale aged in maple syrup bourbon barrels. Delicious stuff and not overly sweet. Thanks Jackalope!

BTW, a few weeks ago I tried the High West Double Rye Whisky. Anyone else had it? It instantly became one of my favorite whiskys.

High West is great. You should try their Rendezvous Rye as well. One of the best rye's that I have had.

Surly brewing did a one time drop in AZ so I brought home some Furious along with a pack of Modern Times Booming Rollers IPA. Just about time to switch back to mostly IPA's as it should hit the high 80's here this week.

Surly? Not bad. I'll take the local breweries in Fargo over them though.
