I finally had Elysian Space Dust. I thought I'd be disappointed given how hyped the beer is, but it is really good. My kind of IPA, crisp and balanced. It doesn't assault you with vicious hordes of hops hell bent on taste bud carnage.

I have to admit that while I like it, I think that it is over-hyped. I much prefer Founder's Imperial Stout.

Right now Old Pulteney 12yo

Agreed 100%. Kind of. I really enjoy Founders Breakfast Stout. I just prefer the Imperial but I always prefer the Imperial.

Just had Stone 20th Citracado IPA. Really enjoyed it. Very smooth, well balanced, awesome appearance. I was expecting a bit more citrus because of the hops but I still really liked it. It was very satisfying.

Now having a Karbach Hop Delusion. It is also really good. After the Stone it seems super bitter. It's a hit you on the head with hops kind of beer. Good citrus upon agitation. I'm enjoying this greatly. Thank you to zelezovlk!

I'm currently drinking a 25oz can of Budweiser that my friend left here...then it's to Brother's for wings and Long Islands.

Had a couple different beers from Modern Times the other night. Didn't know what I was missing, looking forward to trying more of their beers!

I like Space Dust. I also enjoy their Dayglow IPA.

Space Dust is one of my favorites!

2015 SN Narwhal. Aged a bit better than I figured it would.

Notes? or thoughts on the changes?

Are you happy that you aged it?

is this one of the beers that we discussed aging last year?

I thought that the dark fruit and other normal imperial stout flavors stood out more. Toffee. I swear I smelled smoke in the bouquet when I first raised the glass.

I'm very happy I aged it. And yes we discussed aging this last year, but it's just the standard SN Narwhal, so you were not sure how much better it would be, IIRC.

Anyone drink detox waters? My wife got into it and I'm all about anything healthy that I can enjoy, trendy or not,... I love these berry and herb detox waters, super refreshing, tasty.

Though to be fair here was here was my response (which was pretty bland and vague).

As is. It can age though.

Speaking of stouts Oskar Blues Ten Fidy is one of the best that I have had. Speaking of that:

Did you know that Oskar Blues is opening a brewery/taproom/music venue in Austin next year?

Ah. Well. Speaking of that Oskar Blues facility...I heard that they may have 1 beer that isn't in distribution at the tap room. Which means that for the most part, you can go and spend 4 or 5 bucks on a pint of Dale's. Even the lone non distributed beer is pretty new. I'm gonna wait until they offer more before I go.
