I believe that the second one was what I was inquiring about. What did you think?

My notes from when I had it (back in November I think).

Stone Bourbon Barrel Aged Arrogant Bastard. Pretty good, you can tell it is a 3rd or 4th fill as the bourbon and oak are in the background. Definitely some nice hops and malt with some vanilla and cola flavors. Just a little oak and caramel. Good but nothing amazing.

I could've sworn I just saw an article stating that they released it just a few days ago.

They are releasing it in a six pack (12oz bottles) now. Previously it was in a 4 pack of 22oz bottles that had it, the standard arrogant bastard, Lukcy Bastard and Double Bastard (I believe that is the correct 4) around the holidays.

Edit: Though after looking at it, the top label is slightly different. Hopefully this one has been aged in 1st fill barrels.

Unibroue 17 Grande Reserve. This is an interesting beer. I'm not sure if the brewer intended on this being aged or not. It's over a year old and has an expiration date of May '16. That's quite a window. Anyways it's a pretty good beer, just not sure where it's at.

Holy shit. Serious? 50 million? What exactly is that for?
Lagunitas Hop Stoopid right now.

Increased production if I recall correctly.

Local growler filling station has some KBS tomorrow, hoping to score me some.

Double Bastard for me tonight.

Isn't 50 million a whole hell of a lot for increased production? I mean couldn't a few million increase production by quite a bit?

Hope you get a KBS or two.

Not really. If it includes buying land, building the building, brewing equipment, and probably more bottling equipment as well, 50 million would seem to be in the ballpark.

Bells brewery is breaking ground on a 50 million dollar expansion

This makes me wonder how close we are to a saturation point of craft beer in the USA. Don't get me wrong, I love all the different choices out there and it's good to see all these little guys doing well. But at some point, it seems that there has to be a leveling off. There's only so much shelf space and tap space to go around. And as much as I like tasting booze at work, eventually I'm going to start reacting to beer reps the same way I do to liquor and wine reps. I'll roll my eyes at their assertions that their vodka or pinot noir is somehow going to be markedly superior than the dozens I've already tried.

Against the grain brewing 35K. A Sweet Stout, just ok for me but I'm really not a huge fan of this style. Really only bought this one due to the prices of other ATG beers at my local grocer...a bourbon barrel aged stout, $27 for a bomber!

How is it?

Belching Beeve Peanut Butter Milk Stout. Tastes like someone liquified a Reese's peanut butter cup and added alcohol.

Really good. Seems to be a little more balance than 1.0. I think I like 2.0 more than 1.0.

Last night was Ballast Point Sculpin and Maker's 46.

Really enjoying all the Ballast Point I've been drinking lately. Sculpin is a really solid summer beer, I really like their Session IPA whatever it's called, and Victory at Sea is soooooo delicious.
