Was looking for Delirium Nocturnum today...couldnt find. Did find Delirium Tremens. It's good but I wish I had the dark ale.

Bulleit bourbon. Nothing special. Basically tastes like Jack Daniels. Maybe I need to grow a beard, wear skinny jeans and listen to Mumford and Sons.

Henry McKenna Bourbon with a tax stamp on it. Not a great bourbon but 30 years in the glass has smoothed it out some (plus I got the 375ml bottle for free).

Aw, crap. Are the damned hipsters taking decent bourbon away from us too?

Lumberyard Brewing Flagstaff IPA. Not bad but simple. Lots of pine and grapefruit with a hint of orange and pale malt.

I kind of appreciate the simplicity of the Lumberyard IPA. I love an unbalanced West Coast IPA. It doesn't mess with many malts.

That said, I'm drinking the big, malty, Squatters Hop Rising.

What's accepted Egg Nog etiquette? When is it ok to start drinking it? Thanksgiving? It's been sounding good lately.

Making a Winter stew for dinner (stew meat, onion, carrots, celery, butternut squash, sweet potatoes, beef broth and red wine). Tranco Montastrell/Cabernet 2010 to use in it and drink.

Not a problem. I have already done all of that but diced tomato. I should have put some in as my oldest son loves tomatoes. Thanks.

Edit: Also forgot the bay leaf. Thanks for the reminder. Damn
