Do you like the GTS jr?

It's not in the same ball park as GTS IMHO , but if given an honest taste without the name in mind it is a force.

It has to have water! Cherries and chocolate ...

I like it and feel like it is tommy Rees and gets compared to golson :)

Ommegang Game of Thrones Take the Black Stout. Some roasted coffee, some roasted nuts and malt, with some dark fruits, cloves, and caramel. More like a mix of stout and Belgian Strong Dark Ale.

I'm not a big fan of stouts generally, but that sounds like one I could get into.

That's a milk/ sweet stout, which is the only style of stout I enjoy. The only one I'd put ahead of it is Left Hand Milk Stout Nitro. YDC is delicious.

El Segundo White Dog IPA. This is a very good wheat IPA. Lots of citrus and tropical fruits with some cracked wheat and barley. A slight hint of herbalness.

Port Brewing Hop 15. Starts wonderfully on tangerine, peaches, pineapple, orange and grapefruit. Then the bitterness crashes the party. Kind of like a hoppy sand paper to the taste buds.

I tried some Jefferson's Reserve bourbon over the weekend. Very smooth, good stuff. I'm not on board for $60/bottle retail, though. It's not quite good enough to demand that price, IMO. I'd be a buyer in the forties.

Port Brewing Santa's Little Helper Russian Imperial Stout. A nice stout but nothing special.

Holy Crap. It is under $40 here for the Reserve.

Sierra Nevada Devastation Black IPA. A good but mild Black IPA. Some nice roasty notes (nuts, malt and coffee) with some citrus and herbal hops.
