Victory Prima Pils. This tastes very different from any Pilsner I have ever tasted.

I like that beer. A local restaurant carries it on draft and I usually go with that one.

Over the weekend had Lagunitas Sucks. Pretty good beer. Want to have another one to give it another taste. Also had a St Bernardus Prior 8. I like the Abt 12 more but the 8 is pretty good too.

St Bernaruds 8 is good. The 6 is solid and the tripel is very good as well.

I am having a Lagunitas SUCKS right now. I love the nose on this, nectarine, peach, tangerine and orange. Very nice. Palate is very good but not as good as the nose.

Laguintas Lucky 13 alt. Pretty good, amber ale that has that familiar Lagunitas taste.

Hopefully it works this time. A few weeks ago when I tried to load these pictures, I was getting an error from IE. Anyway...

If you're ever in the St. Louis area, make the trip to Cicero's. It's in The Loop. Awesome food but even better beer selection. This was the Top Shelf Flight that I had. Finished it off with a bomber of Coney Island Albino Python. Very, very good.

Just went to Dieu Du Ciel in Montreal. Had several beers. Aphrodisiaque was excellent, a wonderful drinkable stout with strong cocoa taste. Peche Martel was also a very good stout, although the coffee undertones were not as strong as I expected. Fumisterie was an interesting and enjoyable beer brewed with hemp. Chaman was a very solid Imperial IPA, hoppy and tasty. Only one I did not enjoy was Neuvaine a absinthe beer, the licorice taste was very overpowering and just not palatable, I am honestly not very familiar with absinthe so perhaps that is what they were going for, but it was just not a pleasant beer to drink, I'm not the biggest licorce/anissed fan anyhow but I tried to put that aside and still think this beer was not well balanced and not well done. However, overall fantastic beers, friendly staff, nice plate of food (charcuterie), overall good brewpub. I would def recommend it to anyone visiting Montreal.

Very good. My personal favorite Black and Tan is a Black Heart (Guinness and Belles Two Hearted).

Very nice. I've had black and tans before as well as a black and cherry (Sam Adams Cherry Wheat & Guinness) and a whole lot of car bombs but never thought of mixing Guinness with an IPA.

First a Huma Lupa Licious and now a Sierra Nevada Ruthless Rye.

Nice, Short's Brewery. Thats my last name, so I prefer beer from them. I am personally drinking vodka/ monster. (white monster). I really want to try the Stawberry Short's Cake. I heard it is really good, but it is seasonal.

Not trying to be a Negative Ned (or a Killington B, Debbie Downer, etc) here, but it's kind of "eh" for me. I liked it but I wouldn't seek it out again. I think I recall liking Peaches and Cream more. But you really can't go wrong with a Shorts beer.

Haven't heard of the Peaches and Cream, definitely keep my eyes open for that. Thanks.

Buddy of mine just got back from a trip to Taiwan. He knows I love scotch, so he brought me back a bottle of Taiwan "scotch." Of course, it is not called "scotch," but "single malt whiskey," instead. I honestly thought it would be ****. Just broke it open tonight, and I must say, it is really, really good. It's called Kavalan. If you like scotch, and get a chance, I highly recommend you try it. You might be pleasantly surprised like I am.
