Drinking Miller Light and doing mini beer shots. First time I had these shots...pretty good!

At the store!?!? Jealous. How is the green tea ipa?

Last Enjoy By 2.14.15 for me.

One of their company stores with 20+ beers on tap is about .5 miles from my hotel. Needless to say I will be back there tomorrow.

The green tea IPA is overwhelmingly green tea flavored. Not something I would ever have again. Tomorrow I want to try Delicious IPA and a single hop IPA (along with some more Enjoy by 3/14/15 which is really damn good).

This week I've been enjoying 2015 New Belgium La Folie and Dark Horse Plead the Fifth.

A buddy in from Chicago also brought me a Boulevard Bourbon Barrel Quad, which I'm excited to try. We don't get Boulevard in West Michigan. Anyone tried this or other Boulevard beers?

Back at the Stone company store for some Delicious IPA and Lupulin Loop Azacca (a single hop IPA brewed with the Azacca hop).

I couldn't leave without another Enjoy By 3/14/15. Damn this is good. I feel that it is better then the 2/14/15 but hard to tell as I have had the 3/14/15 on tap and the 2/14/15 from bottles (though I have a few bottles of the 3/14/15 so I will post thoughts once I open one).

Forgot to set my alarm this morning to wake up and buy KBS tickets. They sold out in two minutes. Looks like I'll be chasing the truck on bottle release day this year... :(

Is there a release date set yet?

For you poor saps who missed out on a presale ticket like I did:
KBS will be available throughout Michigan beginning on Monday, March 16, and throughout the rest of our footprint beginning on Monday, March 30.

For those in the Grand Rapids area, there is a week long release party at various bars around town starting March 9. I'll be attending the ones within walking distance of my house. I recommend getting there early, as these places will be nuts to butts by keg tapping time. Details and schedule at: KBS Week | March 9 - 14.

I very much like it. Excellent value. I definitely prefer it to Abbey.

At nearly 8% ABV and $7/ sixer, it's also one of the best options for getting buzzed on a budget. Wish I'd known about it as an undergrad.

I ain't that young anymore, but I'm still on a budget. I'll have to pick it back up after Lent.

Since June I've been saving a bottle of Founder's Devil Dancer for a rainy day that has finally come about. After seven months, the hops have taken a step back as expected, making it more impish than the Prince of Darkness. Quite the tasty treat!

Some may cry that an aged Triple IPA is a paradise lost. I disagree. You will not find a barleywine or old ale with similar characteristics. Which reminds me, there's a dormant Founder's Doom in the cellar...

Victory 19th Anniversary Session IPA. Just OK. The idea seems out-of-whack. A session beer is supposed to be drunk over a long period of time, from what I understand. But 4.5% abv? It seems like a slow-sipper beer should pack more wallop. Not as well-balanced as other IPAS/DIPAS (e.g. Dirt Wolf) too much piney hop flavor and nothing else besides.
