I've been dying to try this but I can't find it anywhere. How is it?

Definitely worth trying. I really enjoyed it but it fell short of the best Imperial Stouts out there (though it is slightly different). I will probably buy some more when the weather turns colder here. Next I want to try their Blaecorn Unidragon which is a Russian Imperial Stout.

Has anyone tried Stone Saison? I'm generally a fan of saisons, good for warm weather. But I know that Stone likes to throw curve balls into their traditional brews. I didn't want to cough up what the liquor store was charging for a sixer just to find out I'd gotten a hop bomb or something weird.

I didn't particularly enjoy it (to the point that it was hard to finish 1 12oz bottle), but then again I am not a huge Saison fan I personally would take a pass but maybe someone else who is a Saison fan could give you a better answer.

Sierra Nevada Flipside Red IPA.

Disappoint just like last year. The nose is rather nice with citrus, pine and some malt but the taste is mostly pine, herbal hops and some slightly musty malt. Just not my taste. Glad I only picked up 1 though disappointed as I normally really like Red IPAs.

Bells oberon. Tomorrow I will be drinking some Shorts Brewing that I haven't had. Kalamazoo michigan has its annual ribfest and there is a bar that has a great assortment nearby

finished off the last of my BBC Topathon growler and just cracked what I thought was a Coors Light. Turned out to be some awful concoction called Summer Brew I bought by mistake. yuck!

unfortunately, its either Summer Brew or drive to the store. hopefully Summer Brew gets better the more you drink...

And Coors Light isn't an awful concoction?

I read your username as itchyrear at first and was going to tell you to go and get that checked out as that isn't normal.

coors light sure isn't good but it isn't awful either. it is serviceable for hydrating and keeping a buzz on a week night, if your into that type of thing.

If I was going to go with a BMC beer it would be Miller Lite (or Miller High Life, or MGD).

Though I can snag a 24 pack of Stone IPA at Costco for $28 or a 12 pack of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale or Torpedo IPA for $12.

Belmont Brewing Co's Topathon is a blend of their Top Sail Blonde and Marathon Amber. Individually Top Sail and Marathon are award winning, together, they are perfection.

Over the past few days, I've had Sierra Nevada Hoptimum, Stone Arrogant Bastard Ale, Victory Dirtwolf Double IPA, GreenFlash Le Freak and Avery Hog Heaven.

Down in Costa Rica on vacation and drinking a LOT of Havana Club rum. The wife and I are hooked, but I'm pretty sure it's treated the same as Cuban cigars back home. Anybody else a fan? I was told it wasn't that good before we made the trip, but it's really drinkable on a hot day.

I bought three of the little ~2 ounce bottles to try some new liquor and venture out from my preferred Southern Comfort. Wild Turkey, Captain Morgan, and Jose Cuervo. The first two was definitely a no go for me. Jose is still freezing since I've never been able to handle tequila. I'll most likely let a friend have it haha!

Can anyone recommend liquor that's similar to Soco? I've really only tried Crown, Jaegermeister, and one time Goldschlager. Crown was ok, jäger I blacked out with and I'm not a fan of the black licorice taste, and Gold is delicious! I was hoping to buy a little Jack Daniels to try but they didn't have the tiny bottles.

Sierra Nevada Harvest Single Hop (equinox) IPA.

Ugh, I don't like this. It tastes like taking a green bell pepper, some sawdust, and a little citrus and blended it. Not a fan.

On a positive note the second glass loses some of the sawdust flavor but the green bell pepper flavor is still overwhelming.

Whistle Pig Rye. Daaaamn! That's some good whiskey.

Also had a Gavroche French Red Ale. Really good. A less bubbly/champagne like Belgium Ale with a finish that is similar to a good porter. Really good.

Whistle Pig does make some fine whiskey. It's a little 'spensive, but worth the price for what's in the bottle.
