I worry a little bit about this being a "let down" game after two top 15 wins and looking forward to Miami, in conjunction to Wake wanting to stick it to Elko. I'm getting a Boston College kind of feel. Closer and rougher than it should be in the first half, then we open it up in the second half.
ND by 24.
Edit: longtime lurker here, first time posting I guess![]()

Our DL has a big big game, and the DBs do enough to limit Dortch.
BK lets the dogs out, gives Josh some extra carries to attain 200yrds and a few TDs, and the other boys get plenty of touches. WF D is beaten down hard by early 3rd Q.
I mean, that's the fishiest line I've ever seen. Wake is a surprisingly good team... borderline top 25 when looking at advanced stats... but it's hard not to pick ND to win by two TDs.
Per the Wake Forest football site ... Sunday, it was announced that Greg Dortch will miss the remainder of the 2017 season because of an abdominal injury suffered in the Louisville game. Dortch leads all freshman in the nation in receiving yards (722) and receiving touchdowns (eight). Four of those scores came during the game in which he was injured, setting a single-game school record.
Reese Davis pointed out they're in the top 30 in both offense and defense (not sure which metric he's using).
But that's pretty damn balanced and rare for a team to be that balanced and not in the top 25. Glad this one's at home.

Limit Dortch?
No chance the db’s limit Dortch this game. Zero
The team is made hungrier by their #3 ranking, rather than complacent or satisfied.
42-14 Irish.
Book and McIntosh get another entire fourth quarter to drain the life from an opponent, and our backup OL and DL continue to get great developmental reps.
It's taking every ounce of willpower that I possess to keep me from laying a G on ND to cover....

Put some stuff on Offer-Up and free up that capital.
If you'd been doing the G thang all season, your post would have read...
"It's taking every ounce of willpower that I possess to keep me from laying a 6 G's on ND to cover."
The Irish are printing money.
