Where are you getting the gif from? Most will auto embed by just pasting the link directly into the reply box.

I have the same problem. You need to insert it into either one of the "Insert Link," "Insert Image," or "Media" tabs up top on the post message toolbar. Sorry, I can't remember which one- it's been a trial by error.

I just went 0 for 3 with 3 strikeouts.
I have to use the Insert Image then click on Link symbol and paste the .gif

Weird, maybe that's a setting I can look at. I literally pasted the link to that Tony Jones gif in the reply box and hit send. Can one of you guys try a gif from somewhere other than tenor?

I can check but those are auto created by Google so I'm not sure how much customizing I can do.

Or you could move the menu button to the far right and then slide everything else to the left.

Do you not have an arrow underneath the ad which pulls it up and hides the ad?
Edit: I see what you are saying now. I haven’t had the problem yet where it covers up the menu bars.

I'm almost positive that he's referring to Cack. Basically, there is no option to ignore Staff I would assume.
I think Cack should never be ignored. Sure I realize at the time all you wanna do is turn on cartoons, make a sandwich, and roll over and go to sleep. But if you don’t address it right away it will just get all gummed up in there and eventually become such a mess you can only get it out using scissors. Quite frankly that isn’t an area I feel real comfortable making snips snips
