haha okay then I'll let it stand lol.

whats 24601?

Jean Valjean from Les Miserable's prisoner number. He was given 5 years prison for stealing a loaf of bread, and 14 more years for trying to escape prison. My bannings from IE have been for petty offenses (IMO), so I figured if the shoe fits, wear it.

I think this is the year things go back to normal with our Pac 12 foes, and USC starts giving us hell from here on out, and we beat Stanford who I don't think will be very good from here on out.

I had to see the play because my GF was one of the whores (sounds SO funny to say lol). Also saw the movie because they did such a good job in the play.

Read back through the posts. Lots of folks talking about how they like this "hire". Just wondering if they knew something that I don't. Wasn't responding to any particular post.

I know a lot about BVG. I am a Jets fan he fits what Brian Kelly looks for perfectly.

Stanford is interesting to me. They've recruited incredibly well on the OL, but they lose some studs on defense next year (thankfully). Hogan is really experienced and has a strong arm, but they lose their best RB.

Losing their best RB last year didn't really hurt them too much this year either. I expect Stanford to remain a strong running team for the foreseeable future while those OL studs are rolling in. I don't think David Shaw is an exceptional coach, but so far he's done an okay job to keep the ball rolling since Harbaugh left. I expect they'll still be one of the most competitive teams in the PAC-12 for a few more years, but I expect ASU to make up ground under Graham, Washington could continue to improve under Petersen, and UCLA looks like they'll continue to improve with the way recruiting has gone. I think USC will improve under Sark, but maybe not right away. I think they'll have 3 losses in the regular season next year to Stanford, UCLA, and hopefully us.

So Stanford remains flat?

If ASU improves relatively, as does UCLA, USC and Washington as you suggest, who falls? Oregon? I just can't see a scenario play out that the four other schools improve and Stanford remains the same. Someone will fall.

Gaffney would have shared a lot of carries last year if he hadn't decided to try out pro baseball. Not really the same situation next year for Stanford, unless they have another 22 year old RB that was able to weight train for an entire year and had 3 years experience in the system.

Looking at Stanford's current class of verbals and last year's class, it seems to me that Stanford is trending down. I also believe that they lose a lot to graduation this year.

They do have Barry Sanders Jr. on the bench Barry J. Sanders

Stanford is on the way down, but I think they'll hang around for a bit longer. They're still a tough team that will pound the ball and play okay defense, that isn't going to change next season I wager.
Arizona State has already improved a bit under Graham, maybe there isn't much ceiling left for them, who knows. Maybe they pickup an extra win next season, but I think they're going to be a tough team.
UCLA certainly has done well under Mora, and recruiting is looking up for them, it's not unthinkable that they'll continue to do well.
USC won't see an immediate boost with Sark, I think it'll take a year or two for him to get them back to a respectable level, but I'm not sure he's the guy that can get them back to Pete Carroll like dynasty. They may hang around at 10-2.
Washington will be the question mark. How does Petersen perform at a bigger program? Sark getting the Huskies to 9-4 is impressive after the Ty fiasco, they may have hit their ceiling too. Maybe Washington falls, they're probably the wildcard.
I think we could see Oregon start to take a step back with the rise of some of the players listed above. Chip Kelly is gone, Helfrich posted a good 11-2 record, but I'm not sure he can keep the ball running like Shaw has at Stanford. I think both programs could fall a bit in the coming years, not immediately. Oregon is already starting to struggle a bit in recruiting compared to what they're used to. It may just be a matter of time.

10 wins is a pretty good mark for most teams, and it's easily possible for 5-6 teams in any one conference to hit this number. Heck, this season the PAC-12 had five 10 win or better teams.

Without knowing much about their class right now, I'll just say that they do seem to turn unrated, unpromising recruits into true studs. Guys like Trent Murphy go unrecruited and unnoticed until they are steamrolling Troy Niklas and sacking Everett Golson.

I guess it's hard for me really to buy into the idea that they are on the way down until I actually see them start to struggle on the field.

I tend to agree. Next year should be the eyeball test as this will be mostly Shaw's players and not Harbaugh's, especially in some key positions.

I think Oregon may show a regression more quickly than Stanford. Stanford plays great D which keeps them in all their games. Oregon doesn't so if they can't get the elite players they need to run their high octane offense, then they could start to sputter on offense using the mid-grade octane players.

That does sound weird! Doubt she would like it lol.

The new movie was a huge disappointment. I wish they hadn't done it as a singy. Its too good of a story. I liked the older movies, one with Liem Neison as Valjean and the other is black and white, both really well done…but nothing beats the book.

So you start with the funny about male attention, and end up in a bromance with kuehnja? Hmmm?

Bromance? Wow, that escalated quickly lol. I was curious is all, calm your horses.
