so they can lose by 3 touchdowns?
Easy....I know another team that has suffered that fate, more than once.

Oklahoma?
Is ND the only team to make it to the CFPs with a 3 star QB?
This got me thinking of how many blowouts there have been in the CFP:
2014/15
Oregon beat FSU 59-20
OSU beat Oregon 42-20
2015-16
Alabama beat MSU 38-0
2016/17
Clemson beat OSU 31-0
2017/18
No blowouts
2018/19
Clemson beat ND 30-3
Clemson beat Bama 44-16
2019/20
LSU beat OK 63-28
It favors the middle seeds, gives the lower seeds a chance to wear the top seeds down. Chaos theory.to me this is the argument against expanding the playoff. If a 1 seed is blowing out a 4 seed consistently what are they gonna be doing to an 8th seed??

Prison sex
Chuck Martin is BUILDING something!i dunno man i reckon Miami of Ohio could give Bama a run
Could go in both Stanford's and SC's thread but a little catching up on some rivals...
I thought it was interesting Wilfong submitted a CB for Josh Moore to SC yesterday, 10/1.
They offered less than a month earlier, 9/9, as WR, likely due to other misses, freebie below:

Stanford's class was rated dead last in the Pac 12 by Huffman a little over a month ago, SCs was 2nd:

Moore, a 3 star and 409th overall in composite, is Stanford's 2nd highest rated recruit. His high upside and recruitment by ND notwithstanding, this shows how dreadful their 67th ranked 2021 class is. He is also at a need position (highest of their 4 safety commits) hurting Shaw and company more if he flips from his commitment on 5/19.

Williamson and returning captain Malik Antoine are 3rd and 5th year players respectively in 2020. As the above article outlines, depth is an issue this year and beyond. Jorgensen and Kaul are walk ons. Noah Williams and JJ Parsons are also 4th and 5th years players and former walk ons now on scholly. After Brock Jones left to become a full time baseball player and Scotty Edwards decided to pursue his 2 year LDS mission rather than enroll as a freshman, the total number of recruited scholarship players at safety is 4 for this year with Gilman's younger brother and McGill as the only underclassman.
McClain had been away from the team for over a month when, on Tuesday morning, there was a knock on the door of the dormitory he shares with his older brother, Abdul-Malik. Two federal agents had arrived.
They asked Munir to speak to his brother. But Abdul-Malik, a redshirt sophomore linebacker for the Trojans, wasn’t present. So one of the investigators, Cynthia Penilla, left a business card for him identifying her as a special agent in the U.S. Department of Labor-Office of Inspector General. The card also said she was in the Office of Labor Racketeering and Fraud Investigations.
Abdul-Malik McClain wasn’t the only USC football player to whom investigators were interested in speaking. Others were approached in recent days at their USC dorms or apartments by investigators inquiring about Munir, according to a person affiliated with USC who was not authorized to speak publicly because of the sensitivity of the matter.
A video reviewed by The Times shows investigators stopping one player on a campus sidewalk. When the player refused to answer questions, an investigator pulled a document from his binder and instructed the player to show up at a listed address on Nov. 4 at 9 a.m.
A representative for the U.S. Office of the Inspector General said in an email: “Our office does not confirm or deny investigations.”
USC said in a statement that it was “cooperating with the authorities.”
Sounds like USC players are being accused of being part of an unemployment fraud scheme? I doubt we have the full story here, but it's interesting: https://www.latimes.com/sports/usc/story/2020-10-22/usc-football-unemployment-suspension

Well this doesn't sound too promising.
It is CA and well...USC.
Are you surprised by anything coming out of CA regarding fraud???
Times are tough! When USC sucks, their usual sources of dark income dry up. And here the Feds are coming down on an enterprising young Trogan for trying to make ends meet. You hate to see it...
I guess the Reggie Bush misunderstanding didn't teach them anything.

Since we're not playing them this year, and we won the past 3 years... When was the last time a class never lost to USC?
Classes of '86 - '95 never lost to SC.
