Hard to believe Lockhart didn't have any DI offers. Led SJB in tackles over the past two seasons. If he was in the Midwest, he'd be in the MAC at worst. Cali has too many players and not enough schools. The leader of the D on the nation's #1 team and not get a scholarship offer is crazy.

Jack Sears-remember him?- still looking for a team. Never enrolled at SD St after committing apparently because Rocky Long left.

Graduated in Dec. So what does he do between now and June, work at Starbucks? Go on a whole bunch of recruiting trips?

Was a high 4 star guy back in 2017. Anybody who isn't set at QB should be taking a look at this guy.

It'll be interesting to see where Ceyair Wright is on their board. If he's a priority, that recruitment just got that much more difficult (seems impossible) to get him out of Cali.

Seems like a move in the wrong direction, IMO. USC is a dump and Clay Helton stinks.

Pretty sure he is a Donte lean right now. Williams also had Anthony Beavers commited at Oregon. 247 says he (Oregon) leads for 4* Jamier Johnson too. He'll get back there and have Jaylin Davies eating out of his hand. AND they basically have Tyson McCutcheon wrapped up.

How the hell did the pull him out of Eugene? Maybe it was his family wanting to live in LA or him too. That’s crazy cause Eugene has probably a blank check for him to the DB coach.

He wants to be in LA and he'll make more money at SC. He's not leaving for less, especially with the added title.

According to FootballScoop, Charlton Warren at Georgia made $600,000 to be the highest paid non-coordinator DB coach for 2019 I believe. Oregon gave Donte Williams a raise to $450,000 so I wonder what kind of raise he must’ve gotten to bring him back to LA. I know it is desirable to live in LA but it could be for only one year which is insane. Or maybe whoever takes over for Clay would maybe retain Williams anyway cause he’s a dynamite position coach and maybe the best recruiter in the DB nation.

USC is a dumpster fire at the moment, but it's still a better program than Oregon. USC has national prominence, better program history and USC may be the easiest program to recruit for.

I can't think of a profession that has less job stability and uncertainty than coaching. Take the money while you can?

Former Vanderbilt QB, Mo Hasan, will transfer to USC for his final season. Hasan began his career at Syracuse as a walk-on, came to Vandy from Coffeyville Community College in 2018. In his first season with the Commodores played in five games. This past season, he played in two, including his first career start.

USC struggled to sign a quarterback in the 2020 class after a decommitment from five-star QB Bryce Young (Alabama). The Trojans were also beat out by Baylor for three-star Louisiana QB Blake Shapen. Baylor offered Shapen four days after his OV to USC on Jan 24. Shapen subsequently visited Baylor on Jan 31 and committed to them three days before NSD.

The day prior to NSD, USC then offered two-star Texas QB Cade Fennegan, a 2018 recruit returning from his Mormon mission, but he opted to stick with his commit to Boise State on NSD.

In his seven appearances in two years at Vandy, Hasan completed 11-of-17 passes for 158 yards and a touchdown. He also ran for 79 yards on 16 carries.

USC, with eighty-two scholarship players at this time, appears to have room to renew scholarships to two returning walkons that received scholarships in 2019. One player, Daniel Imatorbhebhe, has returned to the team and is awaiting approval from the NCAA for a sixth year. The Trojans signed twelve recruits in their 2020 class. 247 ranked their class as 55th nationally and 10th in the Pac-12.

USC cancelled their game with UC-Davis in 2021, so USC continues their tradition of not scheduling FCS teams.

Good move for Mike Bohn.

Easy decision, but still a nice show of "understanding" from a new AD.

NOW STAY AWAY FROM LUKE FICKELL WHEN YOU FIRE HELTON.

Surprised it hasn't been posted. But JT Daniels has entered the transfer portal.

Yeah saw that. I hear that it has been done with Helton's blessing and he is welcome back at USC - which is what is predicted.
I heard pure speculation of Michigan and LSU as possible landing spots.

Looks like Korey Foreman may be close to decommitting from Clemson and USC would likely be the beneficiary
