Wiltfong just put in foggys for Kayvon Thibodeaux and Faatui Tuitele, two 5* guys who are "supposed" to be leaning USC. Says USC is now trailing behind quite a few schools for Thibodeaux in particular (the #1 ranked kid in the class)

People have difficulty not applying the transitive property to their teams year over year after the roster has undergone such drastic changes. So no, in no conceivable way is it the same team.

If we looked at their roster turnover and weighted it according playing time, we'd be able to quantify it. eg - "81% of the same defense that we torched for 49 points last year. Hopefully our offense with 73% returning players can recreate that outcome"

If you'd have said that, I would've had no issue. But since you didn't:

Reports of porter gustin going down in practice with a knee injury. MRI being taken. Had to be helped off the field. Said he feels stable but feels funny.

slightly torn meniscus and will have surgery next week per the Orange County Register. Will be out for several weeks.
