I (and everyone else with a brain) called Prevot, Hatcher, and Ramsey... but I never though Falah would actually follow through with flipping.

I forget the source, but someone posted recently about how 40% of Rivals Top 100 have been a bust (based on their own criteria, which I felt was compelling enough to use it in this post). Using that figure alone, if USC lands 12 kids then roughly 7 of them will pan out. However, with the type of program Kiffy runs (I'm not convinced he's a great developer of talent) it's probably flip-flopped....perhaps 60% of them are busts...of 12 signees, only 5 pan out. That, my friends, is a huge problem for Troy. So happy I could cry.

Exactly one week ago:
-If signing day was today both Eddie Vanderdoes and A'Shawn Robinson are Trojans. I won't go into details,but as of 1-28-13,both are Trojans.

4 days ago:
-Vanderdoes had a very good visit and the source continues to have a good feeling about him
-Robinson would like to attend SC,but the mom is becoming a difficult hurdle here. One of her recent comments "SC is a fine school,but the University offers the same thing". Again, the kid loves SC , and its his dream school.
-Finally, I am personally placing a bet on Fitts to commit to SC

"contact" in NCAA terms means in-person contact ... phone calls, emails, texts, etc. are totally fine.

Think you are allowed on call, and then they can reach out to you unlimited times. Also, college coaches can call HS coaches and other mediums and have them get the recruit in touch with them.

I'm not cheering for any one player's career to be a bust. I'm also not completely sold on the criteria they used to come up with those figures. But it was enough for me to use and take a jab at USC.

Apparently Willis is planning on waiting until after NSD to sign. This is CHAOS. Hope Willis/Goodman stay strong!

Also, there is some reporter lady for Fox saying USC will get one of their decommits back tomorrow (not EV)... meaning Ramsey, Hatcher, Redfield, Massington, LaRue, Fitts.

I think she's full of crap... but would it be Massington if it had to be someone? Maybe LaRue? Maybe Fitts is fooling everyone? She probably has no idea what she's talking about... but thought I would share.

Dude, he's been all over the place with his recruitment. And it's been REALLY weird. He tweeted some pre-UW stuff last week that got everyone flipping out on USC's side, and then he came out and said someone took his phone and posted that stuff, and that he was still committed to USC 100%. But then in the next minute you hear about how UW has a great shot at him. And UW is supposedly promising a starting spot (according to USC mods and fans), which would be stupid cause he's too light, but it's still attractive for Nico.

A former student of mine goes to school with Nico at St. John Bosco, and I still talk to the student a lot. I won't put Nico on blast too much but let's just say while he's a good kid, he hasn't shied away from the process, if you know what I mean. Announcing when you've already committed? Does that makes ANY sense? Of course not...but you don't get the hype if you don't announce I guess...

USC did this last year to UCLA and snagged a kid last minute, a DB ironically enough. Word is that they will try to flip a DB from UW, a local kid that they should have offered from the jump (but they wanted the superstar OOS kids instead).

But they ain't get Willis and Goodman, trust me. They might try and reach out, but they couldn't get those 2 when things were going great...so they ain't getting them now. I forget the name of the local DB UCLA has that USC might try to sway, but he would be MUCH more likely to switch than those 2...

Didn't hear that about Willis. Still don't see him going to USC though. Major egg on my face if he does LOL (see above post).

As for the re-commitment...not gonna be Hatcher or Redfield. I'll stick to my word about Fitts and UCLA. Ramsey has a SLIGHT chance since he still has to sit down with his dad and explain himself (his dad says it's his son's choice, but he wants to hear his reasons). Massington and LaRue? Since USC basically told them both thanks but no thanks, how could they go back to them? I once went back with a girl that screwed me over royally, but that's when I was 19 and still stupid. These kids are, oops, 18, so yeah, it's possible LOL.
