This has probably been covered in the past but just how traditional are the diagonal endzone lines? I remember in the 70's there being script in the end zones.

I have to be fair to those guys. I happen to agree with a lot of their positions (grass and Alma Mater to name two), their problem is in delivery. Nobody is going to take you seriously if you present angled lines that are slightly different than previous angled lines as an affront to nature and Our Lady herself.

EDIT: Also, a Studebaker is the appropriate hardcore traditionalist vehicle for a Notre Dame fan. Duh.
