Honestly I was pretty surprised by the poll, but there's also a lot of confusion obviously among those polled because of the terms. The nice thing is since Charlottesville the movement is on the decline apparently, so some good came out of the tragedy.

I may have made a math error it’s late. 3 percent of their total estimates sample size is about 7 million

Further to this point when we we see with our own eyes these individuals popping up at political rallies and coming out of the shadows, the white right wing males carrying tiki touches chanting Jews will not replace us” , clear right wing extremist flags being carried during Jan 6 and any of the other evidence before our eyes that is screaming the party of Trump is one that is at least tacit about their inclusion. This is a problem for the GOP on my opinion.

Where do these people go if Trump loses? These same people flying nazi flags at TPUSA had DeSantis posters too.


And inb4 yes the Dems have heir own problem with leftist ecoterrorists and violent BLM people. We all know that.

I think DeSantis will take a more hard line stance. He's seen the backlash Trump got. Trump would condemn white supremacists a few times, then he would ask why he's getting asked the question again and again and get annoyed, then he would call out both white supremacists and their opposing extremist enemies jointly. It needs to be the consistent first answer every time. DeSantis ran into this earlier in the year and touted his support of Jewish groups and fund raising, so hopefully he takes the hard line stance. If he does I think he'll win over the more moderate independents and secure the primary with an even steady hand.

Most Nazis in 1931 were misfits and social outcasts, too. They didn’t start out opening death camps. As their power grew so did their contempt for and treatment of Jews, Gypsies, homosexuals, and people with physical and mental disabilities. There is no distinction between modern Nazis and “Real Nazis”.

I would agree, but even if they stopped his ego would get in the way and he’d be jealous that others are stealing the spotlight. People close to him have basically confirmed that he is jealous of, and potentially threatened by, Ron DeSantis.

Also worth pointing out that “pro-Democracy” organizations like The Lincoln Project and Meidas Touch have essentially been begging for him, who they’ve said is the biggest threat to democracy, to run again and baiting him to do as such, in addition to trying to get him injected into various races. Last year there was a poll that came out from a conservative conference which showed DeSantis ahead, but Rick Wilson and some of the other LP bros had tweets trying to encourage Trump to run again. They’re doing this because Trump is very beatable in a General Election and has severe limitations, as he consistently underperformed down-ballot Republicans in suburban counties. DeSantis doesn’t alienate these voters who historically vote Republican and split their tickets in 2016 and 2020, so they want Trump in the race to take him out.

Yeah, he has the ego, but even if he's jealous or has the backing of The Lincoln Project no one is going to hear much about him if the media stops. He'd be forced to spend his money to buy air time and that wouldn't be cheap given the amount he'd have to buy to remain in the spotlight.

Sounded like she was primarily calling out a crazy sentence of 7 years for what her Dad did. I have no clue what he did or if he deserved his sentence.

"Trump deserves life in prison IF my father is in prison for this long" suddenly translates to Daughter calls for life in prison for Trump. Ughh.

I do wish Trump would get something out of this deal.

He carried weapons and wore tactical gear into the Capital. He was facing 15 years. Government was seeking a terrorism charge based on evidence but the judge did not agree.

If he was stupid enough to take the word of a serial liar as Gospel and believed that dominion machines switched votes and Trump would magically be re-instated then that’s on him. “Stop The Steal” was nothing but a grift. Heck, if Trump had a set of balls he would’ve marched with his supporters. Instead, he waddled his fat ass into a fancy car and went back to the WH.
