Is a "Proud boy"a Nazi or Xenophobe? Asking for clarification sake?

I think they're mostly a bunch of nuts, but not sure I'd label them with either of the words you use.

Would a gang of Nazi Xenophobes have this guy as their leader?

I don't know? What are they known to support and why would the President tell them stand down and stay back? They are a neo-facist group associated to the far right. They revel in anarchy and political violence. The President immediately followed up with wanting to" Stop Antifa," citing them as the "real" problem" the opposite extremist group on the d
Far left that opposes what they stand for
So yeah
If people don't have a problem with what he said about 'Stand back and stand by." And go on supporting him.
I would consider those people neo Nazis and certainly some ties to prejudices and race at the worst.
Best case, they are just brainwashed.

It depends on what degree I guess? According to that article there were several definitions, "definitely some extreme bullies on here that I would classify them as at minimum extreme assholes
Irish Envy bully's and I'd be willing to bet they have some."Proud Boy" ideologies. No way to be sure really? Seen a lot of comments on here that would make me believe that.

So since you changed your reply, I'll answer this one too.

Does this look like a pic of racists?

I looked up their official beliefs, because frankly I just didn't know. Here they are.

Minimal Government
Maximum Freedom
Anti-Political Correctness
Anti-Drug War
Closed Borders
Anti-Racial Guilt
Anti-Racism
Pro-Free Speech (1st Amendment)
Pro-Gun Rights (2nd Amendment)
Glorifying the Entrepreneur
Venerating the Housewife
Reinstating a Spirit of Western Chauvinism

Here's a quote I found on Wiki from Tarrio.
In regards to his views on extremist groups and ideologies, Tarrio has been quoted as saying, "I denounce white supremacy. I denounce anti-Semitism. I denounce racism. I denounce fascism. I denounce communism and any other -ism that is prejudice towards people because of their race, religion, culture, tone of skin."[5]

In regards to his own ethnicity, he has said, "I'm pretty brown, I'm Cuban. There's nothing white supremacist about me."

So why don't we start with a simple conversation about what you don't like about their official beliefs above, leaving out the rhetoric and stuff like that. Again, I think they're mostly a bunch of nuts, but their group doesn't really fit into the normal confines of what you're suggesting.

See my previous post, and lets start there.
But to answer your Qs above, Trump said he didn't know really who the PBs were. I believe the words stand by, stand down, stand back, etc., were actually what he was repeating from Wallace. As far as them reveling in anarchy, I believe they are anti-anarchy, which is why they are pitted against Antifa most of the time. But again, let's start with my previous post.

"Listen officer, I'm anti crime!!" - says the burglar
"Well, he says he isn't a burglar, can't be a burglar!"

LOL at the logic that because someone says they aren’t something we should all just say they're ok. Antifa says they're antifacists!! We should all sing Kumbaya and live in a communal space together. People from the Left on IE have constantly said that Antifa is destructive. We have people here making excuses for the Proud fucking Boys and constantly pivoting to some rehashed version of all people on the Left love Antifa. You're allowed to hate incels whether they're radicals from either side ffs.

LOL, OK. A link from a progressive journalist. Why not just have a factual conversation.

I agree folks should disavow nuts on both sides. But, no, not all of the left IEers have said Antifa is destructive. The whole "ideal, not a group" thing has been prevalent by many. And I'm not making excuses for Proud Boys. I'm just pointing out some of the rhetoric here is more parroting of MSM than factual. Same Qs go to you that I posed to arahop.

I have been consistent on this, you've pointed this out.

Gavin McInnes is an absolute shit bag, I know him from his days up here shouting his nonsense. He's not someone I would try to get people to lighten up on. Imagine if I tried coming in here to defend Shaun King? Who's probably 1/100th as awful as Gavin McInnes.

Ah, so avoidance and deflection lol. We're not talking about McInnes. He cut ties with the PB in 2018. We're talking about Tarrio and the current Proud Boys. Again, I'd ask you to address the same questions on the PBs public tenets and Tarrio's own race, and public statements.

What am I avoiding? Lol, is my stance that they're a horrible group of incel losers against your beliefs?

Again, and again, I'll stick to my I don’t-support-destructive-groups-and-I-don't-try-to-humanize-them stance, youre welcome to join me on this or, you can continue trying to white knight for them lol.

Seriously, what are we arguing about? This is certainly one of our more bizarre ones. Trump better get healthy so we get back to those arguments.

Whats sad is Trump being asked to condemn white supremacy for the millionth time and his bad answer to it excuses Biden from once again not condemning Antifa.

What is also sad is Wallace prefaced the question to Trump by bringing up the riots and looting almost implying its the white supremist groups burning cities. I actually had a friend that said "trump could not condemn the white supremists burning cities".

I dont know anything about this Gavin dude but I can confidently say there is nobody on Earth who is 100x more evil than Shaun King.

Notably not taking hydroxychloroquine despite extolling it’s virtues for months and some Trumpers calling it a “cure” that was being suppressed. Instead, taking an experimental designer cocktail of antibodies along with a handful of other over the counter drugs.

That's absolute bullshit. Time and time again the far right let's him back pedal. He brought up Antifa immediately afterwards. Care to explain?

I have vivid memories of some of IE's own getting riled up that people would doubt the use of it. The new line is he is actually such a good guy that he's testing out drugs for you. What a joke. I also find it ironic that the Obama's put out a tweet for well wishes, and the Trump campaign responds with a message about Lyin' Obama.

Yeah, Biden pulled all negative ads and isn't talking about Trump holding a super spreader event in violation of CDC guidelines. Trump's campaign responded with the "Lyin' Obama email" that references Biden "hiding in his basement." I don't think anyone is going to get their panties in a bunch over anything Trump does or says at this point, but the continued mocking of Biden for wearing a mask and only holding public events with small groups + social distancing is incredibly tone deaf right now.

It's incredibly maddening. You just know if it was Biden taking experimental drugs and canceling events the Right would be tripping over themselves to say he should drop out or do what happend with HRC in 2016. We had people in this very thread predicting Biden would get sick to avoid debates and to get sympathy. Not a peep when John Lewis died, not a single mention.

Probably like all of us, the continuing violence groups on either side is anathema to achieving lasting change. Violence in actions or in words. Violence against other Americans is a step up from damage to property. People lose their small businesses with this wanton disregard of others. Sadly, we may always have groups that foster hate and use caricatures of those they disagree rather than attempting to understand their points of view and common goals. I think it's everyone's personal responsibility to think of those around them in a public health crisis that has killed 200k Americans. Even with its political implications and potential governmental impacts, I regard Trump in the same way I would anyone in the high risk group of those over 65.

Contains risks by age.

Our healthcare workers will do everything they can to save his life as they do with all of those others who have suffered through Covid infections and may have recovered or died. He has the advantage of excellent medical care. Many fellow Americans do not have medical insurance coverage whether they have lived without or recently lost it.

I think Trump should debate Biden from Walter Reed. You don’t stop being president when you get a little cold, with a .00000001% (Or whatever) death rate and some snivels.

And I was very complimentary of Biden in the Debates, and I was one of the people predicting he wouldn’t show up.

All of your assumptions are wrong basically.

HCQ is being used to treat Covid all over the world.

It doesn’t really matter though. You Bideners are gonna be mad no matter what. It’s quite entertaining to see what the outrage de jour is.

Yeah after realizing Biden wasn't going to flake on the biggest moment so far in the campaign you were complimentary of him.

My sentiment is more for the people the call Nancy Pelosi Nazi Pelosi or were cheering when HRC was sick during the last election cycle.

My general assumption is that Republicans would not give Biden the same treatment Dems are giving Trump right now. No one can argue that.

Just watched the doctors reporting on the POTUS health status --- almost everything was good news.

The only downer was when the MD was asked if COVID had affected POTUS psychologically at all, and he said "no."

Yes, so much outrage in my mundane post of an official statement from the White House that shows him not taking hydroxychloroquine.

The projection and antagonism is tiresome.
