Trump's campaign responded with the "Lyin' Obama email" that references Biden "hiding in his basement." I don't think anyone is going to get their panties in a bunch over anything Trump does or says at this point, but the continued mocking of Biden for wearing a mask and only holding public events with small groups + social distancing is incredibly tone deaf right now.

Probably like all of us, the continuing violence groups on either side is anathema to achieving lasting change. Violence in actions or in words. Violence against other Americans is a step up from damage to property. People lose their small businesses with this wanton disregard of others. Sadly, we may always have groups that foster hate and use caricatures of those they disagree rather than attempting to understand their points of view and common goals. I think it's everyone's personal responsibility to think of those around them in a public health crisis that has killed 200k Americans. Even with its political implications and potential governmental impacts, I regard Trump in the same way I would anyone in the high risk group of those over 65.

Our healthcare workers will do everything they can to save his life as they do with all of those others who have suffered through Covid infections and may have recovered or died.
