For one if they are that worried about playing time are they really going to want to transfer and have to sit out an entire year? Also if they assume they are such big time recruits who should be instant starters, I am guessing they are going to want to transfer to a big time program? Well guess what, all big time programs have alot of talent, and if they don't they are recruiting big time talent, and if they can't recruit big time talent they won't be a big time program for long. These kids are going to have competition wherever they go. Its only game 3. Actually if I am them I am encouraged by what I see ahead of me on the depth chart, I would be thinking if I ball out in practice I have an opportunity to take this RB gig over. I personally am ok with how the coaches have handled the freshman running backs so far. Kelly is obviously trying to get them involved and to keep them interested. I am sure he envisioned being able to get them in the game more against Purdue with a comfortable lead, but obviously that didn't happen. I feel like his biggest issue with the freshman backs are pass protection and ball security. They need an opportunity in a game with a comfortable lead to gain kelly and staffs trust. Again its only game 3, there is alot of time left for these kids to get involved in a major way. No way are they transfering mid season. Its time to let this thing play out and everyone relax a bit. Just my 2 cents.
