The guys have to eventually leave for the draft. Guys staying college longer probably is better for the NFL for evaluation purposes with more tape to go on.

Some troll was tweeting clickbait yesterday about Maye entering the portal & Bama being his next home. Nothing surprises me anymore but I’d bet against this. As we all know, Maye is a UNC legacy. His dad was QB there. One brother was on a NC winning basketball team. It’s in his blood. The only thing that would give me pause is that his dad may not see the defense or running game getting any better & it’ll be Maye trying to win every game on his own which eventually leads to injury.

Right. Why not send your son to a high academic university that will protect him with their vaunted OL, great RB room and young, unproven weapons around him?

What's that? Alabama just offered you a $1.5 million dollar check? Hmmmm, I guess that's one reason why not.

This made me chuckle. I was at the UNC game in 2021 and remember we were shocked when Coan scrambled for that 25ish yard TD. "Did that really just happen?!"

Buchner was also supposed to be an amazing Lax player. But I didn't Lax players were injury prone.....

Well a lot of people have questioned his long-term future at ND. Whether its because they didn't agree with how the offense was being run or in the polar opposite - that he is a genius that is drawn to the NFL.

He has certainly been the topic of discussions here and elsewhere.

Only chance Rees leaves is for an NFL job or possibly Northwestern if that job ever opened up.
