No way I would put this in a Top 10 game list. The game was an absolute stinker for most of the afternoon. Was the final score epic? Hell yes, it was a Top 10 play for the Weis era. Ultimately it was UCLA though, and we were crapping the bed all game.
I gotta agree with the 2002 MSU game. MSU had our number more often than not before that game. We went into East Lansing and Battle came up with that great catch. Just a year or two before Battle had been our QB and was pretty good in his own right, almost beating #1 Nebraska at home with a broken throwing wrist. Was just a great game for Battle and backup Dillingham. Man, I miss hearing Tony Roberts:

As far as other great games, I picked a lot of rivalry games mostly:
'05 USC - Never heard that stadium louder, ever. Ultimately we get screwed at the end, no game left such a sour taste in my mouth. Gotta admit it was something to watch.
'93 FSU - Epic game...only disappointing part was the following weeks loss to BC that blew our chances at going undefeated and playing for the NC. FSU should have never gone.
2010 USC - Not because either team was particularly great today, but the damn streak finally ended and in nail biting fashion. Not either team's best, but it was entertaining and a few players stepped up in big ways when they were needed most.
2010 Utah - Coming off a loss to Tulsa and a drubbing by Navy, there were very low expectations going into this one. We also hadn't beaten a ranked team in forever. Utah had lost the previous week to TCU I believe and they were coming in pissed off. We ended up running wild on them. It may be because I was slightly intoxicated for this one, which I rarely am on game day, but it was just a lot of fun.
2009 MSU - First home win against MSU since '93. Close match that came down to McKarthy's save at the end. Golden Tate also jumped into the Spartan band after a TD, excellent.
'06 MSU - What can be said about this game? Defense was poor on both sides, but a crazy 4th quarter comeback and a Mike Valenti meltdown on the radio made this one a classic.
'08 Michigan - Not a close game, or a highly anticapted one, but after the horrible '07 season and losing badly to Michigan that year, a little rain in South Bend totally ruined the game for the Wolverines. We were soaked after the game, but it was completely worth it. Plus it was comical to watch Michigan try to hold onto the ball. 6 Wolverine turnovers, and probably have a dozen other drops.
2000 Nebraska - Mentioned this one earlier. Gutsy performance by Battle, we lost to #1 Nebraska in overtime, but still a great game in my opinion. I don't think anyone expected us to compete in this one, and our QB was injured all game.
'88 Miami - One of the earliest games I still remember, but very vaguely. I've gone back and watched it on Youtube several times since. I was just 6 years old at the time, but I remember some of the images. Jimmy Johnson fuming at the end is priceless.
