Well Bishop, you knew you were living through the glory days this last decade and a half. I have no doubt you appreciated this run more than most. You knew it would have to come to an end one day. I know it's tough but you have to like the fact that it was Notre Dame and not Auburn or Tennessee, that took down the Saban dynasty.I just need a hug.
What Saban meant is "Tommy has lost the opportunity to make that decision'.
- Saban said Milroe has “earned the opportunity to be the quarterback” after he didn’t appear in the game at USF.
🙃
It sounds like Milroe was benched as punishment, did what Alabama wanted in response, and is now reinstated.
Nothing I wasn’t aware of, but that’s why I posted what I did. Those points don’t necessarily get you an interview, but they help if you have a proven track record. It isn't. But he worked there before, recruited at ND under academic restrictions and grew up in Lake Forest, 20 miles from Evanston, so in the minds of many he's already hired.
The latest SEC Shorts video. Pretty funny and they savage Bama over the Tommy hire and lack of offense.
Most people can do what Feldman does. The candidate list is going to be NU alums and Chicago natives to start. People like Elko, Clawson, MAC coaches. It's not all that complicated.Nothing I wasn’t aware of, but that’s why I posted what I did. Those points don’t necessarily get you an interview, but they help if you have a proven track record.

Luckily Marshal and Stanford weren’t ACC teams. You know who didn't lose a regular season ACC game, with less talent?
This season will be worse than last at this rate, my guy. Losses to USC and Clemson for sure. Wake is doing 400+ yards a game and will come out fired up. Pitt may be the only guaranteed win because their offense is just as bad.Luckily Marshal and Stanford weren’t ACC teams.

I would take 80 year old Lou at this point.“If you burn your neighbors house down, it doesn't make your house look any better.”
Lou Holtz
I miss Tommy after tonight
You've got to be kidding. Lets move on from these internal promotions of our friends.I miss Tommy after tonight
We're 6 for 30 on 3rd down the last 2 weeks. This is with a pretty good OL, Hartman, Estime, Evans, and a better group of WRs. Tommy did more with a lot less. Alabama is getting better each week and is 5-1, we are getting worse. There is no evidence that Tommy Rees is an especially talented offensive coordinator. He was fine here and is now less than fine at Alabama. There are more options than Tommy Rees and Gerad Parker. Not hiring one of those options is the blunder of the early MF era, and it's probably not on MF.

I would have loved to have Ludwig or Klein, but we botched those and hired someone we shouldn't have. Why are you trapped in this box? You can hire someone other than Rees or Parker.
We should have fired Rees a lot sooner rather than wait for him to bail last minute and leave us scrambling for a replacement.I would have loved to have Ludwig or Klein, but we botched those and hired someone we shouldn't have.
Fire Rees for losing 8 games in 3 seasons when we were having to start freshmen and sophomores with the holes Long left? Bold strategy, Cotton. We should have fired Rees a lot sooner rather than wait for him to bail last minute and leave us scrambling for a replacement.
The option offense doesn't sound too bad right nowI would take 80 year old Lou at this point.
Opponents will fear for their knees! The option offense doesn't sound too bad right now

So he adjusted, just in the wrong direction. Maybe they should just have someone signal in the opposite of what Parker calls? Here's what I'll say about Tommy... 0.0% chance he wouldn't have made adjustments to what Louisville was doing. Maybe they would've worked, maybe they wouldn't have, but he would've tried something. Parker came out of halftime and actually did worse than the first half.
He’s just doing a schtick, “everyone made fun of my boy Tommy so now I’m going to make fun of Parker”I am forced to conclude that you are related to Tommy Rees.
Fired him for being pre season 5 and having 4 regular season losses mostly on offense , fired him for assessing qb room without Kelly and thinking Buchner and pyne were good enoughFire Rees for losing 8 games in 3 seasons when we were having to start freshmen and sophomores with the holes Long left? Bold strategy, Cotton.
