Well, as a Bama fan, I'm not impressed by Tommy so far. I wasn't sure what Saban saw in him when he hired him, but I trusted that he knew what he was doing and Tommy was going to be the next offensive genius to hit our sideline. Not so much. This has been three weeks of boring, predictable, incompetent, and lacking in execution or preparation. I've seen us look better in the 4th quarter when the 3rd string was in running out the clock. Tommy can update his resume and start thinking about where he's gonna be in January.
You literally described Tommy Rees’ offenses at Notre Dame. The only reason you didn’t hear anyone with a platform point it out was *Tommy and his dad were their inside sources and they couldn’t burn that bridge.*

I remember how people went so nutso on me when I was happy Tommy left. Obviously there have been some converts since then. Its refreshing to have a decent offense for once.

You are an asshole, plain and simple. Notre Dame had no other options, Tommy rose up and became the best possible hope during his time. He did everything he could and he wasn't gifted like Lawrence. He just gave us everything he had after our promising 5 star showed he couldn't operate in the bright lights. He kept ND from falling off a cliff when the other QBs around him fell apart.
LOL. What’s your next excuse for Tommy boy?

It's an absolute shame that all fanbases have rotten eggs like you, and have to share their fandom with people who can tarnish other people's perceptions of a team and their fans.

Read the room....your takes are terrible.
This didn’t age well. Accept reality.

I'm actually slightly surprised by Alabama's execution on offense. I thought their OL and skill position talent would've been able to hide some things, but I was very wrong. Turns out his scheme sucks, and it doesn't matter if he's calling plays in South Bend or Tuscaloosa.

I'm not sure what will get him fired first, the inability to score or not being able to develop talent. Either way, I'll be very surprised if he's still employed in December.

Rees, Jurco, Pyne, and Buchner have all left ND and have sucked ass. That is a pretty bad run of evals for BK.

Didn’t watch the game. I am curious though, how did all those five stars for Alabama perform today?

I have zero doubts he tried to get Hartman to come down there with him. He absolutely knew what he was walking into.

He better just go with Simpson come hell or high water at this point.

I still can’t believe Nick Saban hired him.

No, we've brought in some highly rated prospects. They just don't seem to have been developed well or to have panned out. We've landed a bunch of studs who turned out to be duds.
This sounds like our QB evaluations prior to Hartman/Minchey/Carr, although the later two remain to be seen of course, but they look better on paper than the 3 before them.

Finebaum talking shit about Tommy Rees has put me in a conundrum. One of the worst Alabama sycophants ever.
Its all a great dumpster fire!! Courtesy of BK's unnecessary loyalty and stupidity on evaluation of Tommy for real, ND's BOT and the AD office and Saban's stupidity (for once). I am loving it!!

Gets me is Rees was all about the "Im stickin with ND" when BK left (which probably a lot more about BK being a terrible person to work with) then fast forward one year and it's "Im outta here!" when Saban comes calling.
So what it really comes down to isnt the love for ND but not wanting to follow a tyrannosaurus of a boss to his new job.

Well in retrospect the way BK oversaw the offense and protected Tommy, he would have been smart to have gone to LSU w BK where immediate championships are not expected in Year 1 and BK would protect him.

Saban will not be overly loyal like BK.
