Flutie did his "get really quiet when ND does something good" thing several times early in the Georgia game.
There were two obvious instances of "dead air" that are supposed to be filled by the color guy after the play-by-play has finished his call. Flutie just left it silent... as he so often does when ND does something good, and he has nothing negative to point out or a positive for the other team.
He STRUGGLES to say good things about ND. He even had to correct himself two or three times on the broadcast trying to call out mistakes/penalties that ND got away with, and then had to backtrack when the replay revealed his hopes/bias.
The worst was when UGA would get a 15-yarder, he'd question it, but when ND got their crucial late-hit call, Flutie immediately went to "ND benefitted earlier! They deserve this!"
I'd note specific times, but I don't feel like watching the UGA replay again.
